Pass Your iTutorGroup Demo Lesson

- In this video, I will share with you the techniques I used to pass my demo lesson with iTutorGroup. The demo lesson is very simple; however, the onboarding process is a bit lengthy. I will also share with you a few of the onboarding steps you have to complete. You are also required to wear a red collared shirt. It doesn't necessarily have to be long sleeves, but if you have tattoos they must be covered at all times. Thanks for watching! ~ Happy Teaching!

Hi Michelle, I have an interview with itutorgroup in 2 days and thanks for your video. For the demo session, it says the interviewer will pretend to be a child or an adult. For adults theres a slide on questions and reading exercises about cell phones. I wonder if you know the adult slide and have a demo lesson on that? Thanks
Hi C_23pink law! For the adult side you're just creating a dialogue to encourage your student to speak much as possible and correct pronunciation. Sorry, I don't have a demo for that.
@@ESLTeAchErMichelle The interviewer just told me to do the mom and dad slide and they offered me a place! Do itutor assign lessons to your free scheduled slots because I read an online review saying they only had one lesson a week :(
Great video. I've got my itutor interview on monday and I'm a bit nervous lol. I like how you used dolls for stand up and sit down as that's what I was planning on doing. With the clothing does it have to be a red polo shirt or would any red shirt do? We're currently in lock down in the UK so I can't go out and buy any clothes as the shops are shut and online delivery will take too long.

@@ESLTeAchErMichelle Thought I'd let you know how it went. Surprisingly quick. The interviewer didn't ask me about myself or my teaching history, or about any problems that might arise in class (which I've seen pretty much every other interview demo ask). I got to choose which slide for my demo lesson (I chose mum and dad), and just had to do that for 5 minutes. I got great feedback though and she was impressed with my energy, using the whiteboard and prop use. Should find out in the next 24 hours!
