Interesting- My Mum presented with quite severe vasculitis but retained cognitive function. She had anti-ku lupus.

What kind of Doctor(s) properly Diagnose these conditions? I've been suffering with, many of the issues you have addressed - it has been 8 years for me. Specialists can't find anything with the tests they have performed. They all insists I have to see a Psychiatrist that there is absolutely nothing wrong with me - that it is all in my head - I wish that was the case.

Typically neurological issues can be diagnosed by a neurologist, while rheumatologic issues are diagnosed by rheumatologists. For more information about rare neuro-immune disorders please visit myelitis.org.
