I was able to get a large sister ghost at a school scholarship fundraiser and now I'm hooked lol I am a avid gardener and we are zone 9 working on a 3 acre fixer upper with a blank piece of property other then a few roses, snowball bush and some iris. First couple years I planted 45 new trees and a variety of grasses... some day we will have more shade 😆 🤣 Now I am adding in different year round interests and some pieces around the back patio area. I was excited to see you have snowball bush. I had to remove a xlarge one to make room for us to have a backyard and patio. It made me sad 😔 but I tried everything it was just in the way right in the middle of the space I wanted to be a patio. I have not seen that at any nurseries and neighbors all thebtime complain about me taking ours out. Trust me i didn't want to for 3 years i danced around it but the root ball had blackberries taking over also and i couldnt keep them at bay no matter what i did. Thank you for sharing such a great content with us. I'm excited to learn more and can't wait to order :)

The best answer is yes they are but the truth is a deer could also eat a nursery pot if it wants to. Rutgers gives Japanese maples a B+ on deer resistance

Your video reassured me I accidentally made the right choice, so thanks! I have an acre and a half, and I sorta suspect I may be that person you talked about who will have this as a "gateway Japanese maple. I am already familiar with your website, so you may ear from me again... I hope I didn't make a mistake buying and planting in a pot on Labor Day!!?
