The diagrams for this model can be found in the book Works of Satoshi Kamiya 2. It was my first time shooting a moving time lapse and I had some camera trouble (if you have a Canon EOS 70d that keeps shutting off randomly, they did a recall on it and fixed mine for free) so there's a few bumps.

Hey there kevin. I was just wondering how you make your single tissue paper treated with methylcellulose. So when u make it, do you put the mc glue down first then put the paper and then put mc glue on top of the paper. Is that right? I was just asking because many origamist use this paper for complex models and i’m about to make this model.

I’m 17 now and the fact I made one of these when I was 12 (with a few rips on the tail I wish I could say it was perfect but I was only 12 and using printer paper) but I very highly doubt I could make one now despite still being into origami

How do you do the stop motion animation along with the origami and not get up from ur seat
The camera takes a photo every 30 seconds, so right after it takes a picture I move the object a little bit and keep folding.

The paper on the website looks so thin but the one your using looks a lot better, are u sure they are the same?
It's the same paper, but I use two sheets glued together with methyl cellulose. The MC also makes the paper more crisp. You wouldn't be able to fold it with the tissue paper as it comes, you have to treat it with MC, CMC, or something else first.
@@ArtOfFold okay understood, do I have to supply it both above and in between the layers?
@@ronit6816 Yes, I put down a layer of MC, a sheet of tissue paper, another layer of MC, another tissue paper, then another MC on top. I can't find a video of anyone that does it exactly like I do, but this one by The Plant Psychologist is good: ruclips.net/video/TQlQxosxmZM/видео.html I use more MC than he does, but it's pretty similar.
