Bhai if companies would think of improving 4g experience. I guess then there will be no 5g in India
Because whatever difficulties 4g users face it is still way ahead than 3g/2g.

I have been using 5G for more than three months here in the US. And I spoke with people using 5G for over a year. Trust me, guys; it makes no difference in day-to-day usage. it's just focused on making users buy new phones. My two cents: If you are buying a new phone just in fear of missing out on 5G or you saw that your 5G phone is missing some crucial bands, DO NOT buy a new phone; stick with your old phone. Save your money

Great explanation Rupesh. But, now due to the arrival of 5G, it will affect 4G users and their internet plans. Companies should categorize the plan choices based on 4G and 5G so that people who are good with 4G can easily opt for those and rest with 5G can do the same.

The low frequency sub GHz bands like n28 700 Mhz are valuable in cities and urban areas also. 700 Mhz gives you wider coverage in open rural areas. But there is another benefit to 700Mhz that nobody is highlighting - it penetrates much better through walls and obstacles like tree cover. It means Jio should be able to offer much better indoor coverage in the cities (compared to Airtel and Vi), for reliable calls and data inside homes and buildings. So, better user experience. The mid-bands (like n41 2500 Mhz and n77/78 3300 Mhz) have much poorer penetration inside buildings, and work well only if you have a tower nearby.
This is probably the reason Jio spent so much money on 700 band in metros and big urban circles, and did not restrict buying 700 band only to rural areas. The other reason could be that with so many users already loading Jio's 800 band spectrum, they anyway needed new subGhz spectrum and decided to go with 700band due to superior coverage. 700 band is also a very popular band for both 4G and 5G internationally. So, multiple suppliers are readily available for telecom equipment.
