Man up, you miserable pair! Your negativity is making these videos unwatchable. Less waffle and get on with the job because your progress is woeful! I know this message will probably be deleted because you are so precious!
If we annoy you so much why are you even watching and then taking the time to moan about it.
Just don’t watch and we don’t delete comments unless they are particularly vile .
Your comment is on the mild side and actually makes us laugh . 😗
😂😂 I think it's the British culture, if we ain't moaning we ain't working 🤣👌
So warmed to see you saved the spider, I have now retired from the building trade after 52 years and like you saved what creatures I could, and must say taken loads of ribbing for it, but feel so much better for doing it, well done chaps, proud of you, keep it up, may all creatures hope you are doing the work around their habitat😊 regards JC
Cheers John 😁🧱👍🏽
I use my wet dry vacuum to pick the water on jobs like this! Just a suggestion from Utah , in the states. Not much rain here though. Love the channel guys, cool to see dad and son working together! I had that pleasure with my dad before he got Parkinson's . Enjoy it while you can! Marry that girl and bring her home already, travel is cutting in your life!
So sorry to hear about your dad. Thanks for your kind comment 🤜🏽🤛🏽🧱👍🏽
Good to see that there are still tradesmen that take a pride in the job. Keep it up.
Cheers Thomas 🧱👍🏽🙌🏽
Super job, it is wonderful to see how a building rises out of the mayhem and confusion of the demolition in such a limited space.
Cheers Nigel 🧱👍🏽
Hi Steve & Axel do do a very exciting job on the bicks & block work gays, it ont very nice weather it work , it was my birthday on the 9 February too guys. Keeping up the very exact work like away the time guys. ❤😉👷♂️👌💪👍
🙏🏽🧱👍🏽
Its called the, `Building - game` because that is exactly what it is.....a right old game.
Not much easy about it either, just one continuous long grinding slog.
Deliveries are late - or cancelled. Blokes do not turn up - when they say they will. Clients changing their minds about things. Van lets you down. Weather is shite. Endless paperwork for V.A.T, H.M.R.C and your accountant. Planning approvals & permissions etc. etc.
Sometimes you just wonder why you bother......
And permanent pain getting you down 😰😰🧱👍🏽
Kin hell, yep wonder why we do it, I can just about put up with the pain at the moment but paperwork has always been a problem with me. Grafters seem to become institutionalised and find it difficult to retire properly, ime a prime example but I enjoy what I do but keeping on working will shorten your life which is not good.
Very true mate , same here 🙁🧱👍🏽
🇨🇦🤓🤙
When it rains..it pours.... just do your best and it will be done.... some jobs are like that...been there too many times too.... when they go easy and no headaches...we hardly notice 😂
✌️
😁😁🧱👍🏽
Brilliant video ! looked a tough day for you both but you both worked really hard to get what you needed to do.I noticed you struggled getting up Steve with your osteoarthritis. It was nice to see Alex come and help his dad up. Hes a good lad.

Thanks Peter 🧱👍🏽
Satisfying when you get there though👍 i always get a buzz on when a job gets to DPC and the oversite is concreted, sad isnt it 😂
Sad but true Andy . Always good to get out of the shit onto solid ground 😁🧱👍🏽🙌🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild 👍

Well played, lads.
Cheers 🤜🏽🤛🏽🧱🤙🏾
Brilliant, just sayin from north of Newcastle 👍🍺
Ta Brian 😁🧱👍🏽
A battle for you both as they often are but kudos to you coz you got there, well done.
Cheers 🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Good work where did you get the gazebo I’m fed up with all this rain ,it’s played havoc on us this winter , had to move jobs about ,good to have the choice of inside or outside work 😃
It was given to us by an old sponsor. It’s not very good as it ripped straight away .
😳🧱👍🏽
Good video lads regards to the cold bridging insulation I always put that on top of the visqueen otherwise I think it could track moisture up the wall? All these modern methods can lead to problems in my eyes
👍🏽🧱
Another day, another hard dollar earned.... excellent content, crack on lads....
Cheers Wayne 🧱👍🏽
perfect as allways guys . take no notice of the trolls you guys do it right.👍
😁🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Milwaukee battery transfer pump 😊👌
Got the m12 stick pump now . Fantastic 🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Great works guys! did you guys have to use a dryish mixture for the first row of concrete blocks on the wet concrete?
Thanks . Yes mate 🧱👍🏽
Regarding the downspout, I’m sure the gosforth handyman/ Andy Mac used a tube of polythene on a roll when building his extension.
Yeah we’ve used that stuff at A&E construction. It’s called elephant trunk 😁🧱👍🏽
I wonder if Milwaukee could do a small whacker plate attachment to the jack hammer you have?
They wacker and a pounder 👏🏽👏🏽🧱🤙🏾
WOW guys i’ve never seen you both as depressed on a job. but hay ho you battled through it. 👍
Bloody weather gets you down 😕🧱👍🏽
Good job in bad conditions lads.
Cheers Richard 🥵🧱
I'd have thought it would have been worth buying a piece of downpipe to direct the roof water into the yard gulley beside the porch.
Choose thebright colour and the the other guys should buy it off you?
Glad you got through it anyway.
🧱👍🏽
I could feel your pain Steve when you said about going home but you pushed on through which is tough but worth it in the end. It’s clear that you know your stuff with increasing the lintel height. It’s the attention to detail that sets you apart
Cheers Tom much appreciated 🙏🏽🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
I do not like spiders but i would never intentionally kill one any way i would get killed by the wife and granddaughter as she is a black belt good day for you two and thanks for the video
🕷️🕸️😂😂🧱👍🏽
👍💥
🧱👍🏽
Think we've had more time off since October up to now more than any other year .my mate just retired had a tit full of it all Steve. Climate change is definitely here big time .Good luck lads its hard work 👍
It is unfortunately Justin . It can’t be ignored any more 🥵🧱👍🏽
Alex how old are you mate
24 🧱👍🏽
You can get water remover that remove the water your sponsor do them
We have one now 🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild whoop whoop can wait to see you use it
@garethhughes3591 🤙🏾🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
@SteveAndAlexBuild everytime I watch there always water at the min that why I thought but I love watching your vlogs
Cheers Gareth 🤙🏾🤙🏾🧱
For the first time ever I find myself disagreeing with you Steve. Spiders ARE animals .... as well as being Arachnids 😂
"Both spiders and insects are part of the Animal Kingdom as Arthropoda, which means “joint legs” or animals with exoskeleton. "
... obviously love the videos as usual lads.... love seeing the mess of the demolition turn into the finished build.
🤔😏🕷️🕸️
We all have them shit days m8
We have too many , usually our own fault 😬🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Loved the 10 lbs of shit in in a 5 lb bag. Could you translate to to kilograms 😂 Some jobs can just be a pain in the ass and then you have to deal with weather
Al uses that quote all the time
10lb x 💩👉🏼5 lb 👜😂🧱👍🏽
Some jobs are just a slog
Yeah every one of ours 🥵😂🧱🤙🏾
Absolutely nothing is straight forward, ever ! Take this as an example.. my missus said the other day that she had a problem closing the door to the downstairs loo, that's odd i thought but left it until she really got the ache about it so, after she'd gone to bed, i decided to have a look & sure enough the door had dropped from the top hinge.. easy fix, no problem, piece of piss ! Was it bollocks, i couldnt find a screwdriver anywhere & i really didn't want to bang & crash about looking for one so what did i end up doing? I used the screwdriver bit on my swiss army knife .. did the job but where the bloody hell was me screwdriver? Nope, aint got a clue . I think our ghost has been moving stuff around again ( you think I'm joking !), i can never find anything in this house, when i was wallpapering the hall, i was on my own so no one to wind me up, i did me pencil line on the wall, put the pencil on the table, turned away & when i turned back it was gone, completely gone & i had to get another pencil & ive not seen the original one since !
😂😂👻😳😟🧱🤙🏾
