You'd love to work on my G&G AK-104 then, it's so battle scarred that it basically has prosthetic limbs by now, but it's still the absolute star in my "arsenal". The stock is held on with two pieces of aluminium and 4 machine screws since I managed to break the upper stock prong. The screw mounts for the front section are long gone ao I recently drilled and tappet two holes into the side of the receiver to hold it together. Same deal with the rear sight block, drilled and tappet three holes to keep the sight rail on. It's absolutely battered but I don't have it in my heart to get rid of it, too much histroy and fond memories, it's basically like a buddy at this point, hed it for nearly a decade after all.
I am that Jim: BFG Jim, IED Jim...lol Just love playing hard and thankfully the kit did me proud. however luke has seriously given it a new life: cheers bud you are a star
That is how my gear box looked when I looked at it. It looked like this. I must have had the last of this glorious generation. It last 4 years of constant play. With a 11.1 lipo stock. Now it is getting a rebuild for the gear box. So I am proud of my 416cqb
Fuuuckin hell you're incredible mate. I can't believe you restored that thing in 6 minutes and 31 seconds. Dude must've paid you about 631 million quid to have that done though. It looks *insanely* good. Right. Quiet please everybody, I need to continue binge watching this fucking master..
Hey, I have a question. Im about to buy an Arcturus HK416 and upgrade it. Since they use microswitch, their gearbox is different, so u cant fit drop in mosfet and I saw u already had arcturus guns for gate warfet install, so do I have to replace wiring or just use it as plug n play?
I am new to Airsoft. Age older then dirt. I just bought the the umbrella helios m4. I will not be fixing it until it breaks. I do i do up keep maintenence on it to make it last?? Or do I have to take it in?? Please help. The old noob. Sincerely Hans
The hopup seems like it was a G&G style from their CM16 Warthog series and the other similar guns. It also looks like it might be able to be fitted with modification in a G&G F2k. And yeah, I know, no one cares
Silly question, can you get all the advantages of a mosfet with a warfet? Like does having in internal mosfet have advantages over an after market one? There is so much misinformation on the topic of airsoft.
Bit late to the party, but there is a difference. An internal hardwired mosfet will protect your trigger contacts because there's only a low current passing through them through a signal wire. An inline plugin mosfet will not protect your contacts because the full current will still travel through your contacts and spark as you make contact, which damages them over time. All that the inline mosfets do is give you control over rate of fire and maybe give you burst fire.
would one of those 70£ sandblast closets not be handy for you? I have one and its suuuper handy dandy to remove any type of coating an rust to the bare metal
Have you by any chance had contact with Cybergun's FAMAS F1 EVO with Mosfet? Are they servicable out of the box or do they need some work? I've heard internals are Frankenstein and there are not many parts available. I obviously know fuck-all hence my question to an expert on the matter. And if not - which bullpup available on the market in AEG segment is worth looking at?
So I have a Lonex gearbox shell, Lonex blue piston, piston head, cylinder, cylinder head, Guader air nozzle and Guarder 16.1 gears and I just ordered a Warfet and a Speed trigger so now I need a how to shim for dummies because that's the only thing I don't know how to do myself... Anyone know of any good techs that have a RUclips channel that can make a video about shimming that's not 30 fuckin minutes long?
I don't know if you read the comments or if anyone in these comments can help me but I'm really new to airsoft and I'm look for a gearbox and motor that can give me a decent fire rate and is reliable I'm not looking to make a bullet hose. Asking for suggestions
These types of replicas are my favorite to be seen worked on. Battle scarred and lots of history

Looks like you just went "Imma weather this bitch" and tied her up behind your car and took a nice rally in a dirt pit.
I'm guessing you were using it for hand to hand combat.
A trick : watch series at kaldrostream. Been using them for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Austin Brantley yup, I've been using kaldrostream for since november myself :)

LOVE the Post Apocalyptic look! One of my favorites!
Awesome job. I love the finish on it.
Paint reminds me of the skin of a Predator. I dig it
Can only be one of two Jims I know of you know mate 😂😂😂😂, and they do play hard from what I remember playing at the mall with them.
i'm not the tall Jim....you could always bet i was a sneaky bastard tho.....lol
i miss that site, only ever got to play there once and it was the most fun i've ever had
Would like to know of you have had a go with the tippmann m4 recoil?
That is one well used gun, we'll airsoft on the beaches, we will not surrender. Cheers for the video.
This makes me feel so much better about the state of some of my AEGs.
Jim the Hardcore player :D like it!
It's fucking amazing that the owner kept the internals upgraded and working but he forgot about the external look.
Michael Mccreight externals don’t matter besides adding more weight or less
Hi, what type of tape did he use on the grips?
God level glitter rolling bud👍,looks as mean as fk

I've yet to see an arcturus anything that isn't wank.
Double bell for an hk416.
It's a Dboys basically.
Awesome stuff! What did you use to remove the paint?
I hope you used lots of teflon tape to get a even better airseal, also make sure to correct aoe with a thick sorbo pad
3 inches of rubber fixes everything
Love the video... but how did you achieve that amount of consistency Jesus Christ thats insane
Practice & lube. Always lube.

Cracking job 👍👌
Nice!
Love you're videos and I agree with a lot of what you say and do on these airsoft guns keep it up.👍
Looks like the trusty gun you'd use after the apocalypse. Really nice
my god this man must rly love his gun
That looked like so much fun !!
Just picked this comment up...sorry bud...the tape is a black semi stretchy sports tape/decent athletic shops may have it.
good job buddy great work
Only thing that absolutely sucked on older vfcs was the piston. Would strip supper fast. Mine lasted only 20k rounds before yeeting itself

YO! Is this music the music used in the Die Hard Trilogy PS1 game, the diehard 2 lightgun portion?! I KNOW IT IS!
The hex screws on these motor plates are the worst.

I have a full size cabinet, however the metal was badly damaged & if I had blasted the pieces it would have cost him a fortune.

3g up close at just under a joule will do that to a vfc cylinder.
