Because TM guns are great but people generally do not want to play with JPN-specification power. The only thing keeping me from buying TM guns en-masse is the expensive pricetag, on top of the upgrades I have to install, just to make it competitive.

Low battery warning on the Titan, some of them do it, there’s a setting to turn off the alarm in the control station. Can’t be arsed to sort out a return and fit a new one though.
binge watching again...After watching this again, I just worked an AEG last week with a titan in it that had the same low voltage error, motor buzzing etc. I found the motor connectors to be the culprit. Replaced them (with a dab of solder on the wire connector end and the error went away. Just something to check next time you get this.
I've got a Valken ASL Tango and was impressed so got my boy one too. Out the box is a solid performer, and with a cheap mosfet fitted and a shim job it's running mid 340 fps with decent RPS, not bad for a cheap gun really.
I while ago I did the same cut on the gearbox to be able to fit wiring in it and I have to say that it works perfectly fine,specially with thick wiring which hits the motor shaft when you try to insert it in the gearbox. Try it,it'll make your life a lot easier
@@advanceddarkness3 I've only changed the wire to 16awg in my specna 416 and it's a nightmare,y had to shave absolutely every part in the grip and change the connectors to bullets. Never do that again unless I know for sure it's worth it. At least now its really easy to take apart

if you want to get the super glue off, instead of using any chemicals use a hobby knife with a flat blade and use it to carve off the super glue. it takes a while but it comes off. done it before on a would surface, you just have to be gentle to reduce any damage to the inside
I think the new Valken guns are popular because they come with a one year warranty, when I went to my local shop the owner was trying so hard to sale one to some kid and that was his only selling point
the alloy series guns are tanks, indestructable. But you do need to put a mosfet in them out of the box. they tend to fire semi on full auto at times when using an 11.1 lipo. Ive had one for 3 years still using the same gearbox, gears, piston, piston head, etc.
ZCI barrels are great budget build barrels, but they are actually 6.03mm. not ultra tightbore, but then ultra tightbores cause more problems than they solve.
it baffles me how badly some of these retailers do this stuff. I had a 416 that had been sent to a retailer and the job they did was absolutely awful. The soldering was appalling and the standard of work was shocking .
@Johnny Dong yeah PROWIN if you want a hopup that you'll have to fiddle with to get it just right into infinity, ie shimming the wings, constantly adjusting front end grub screws to get it "just" right so that it will line up with your mags and still sit reasonably tight to your gearbox - NOT a good choice

Yeh you should be able to, I haven't as yet but I'm considering doing that to mine, you only have a positive and negative and a signal wire so as long as the wiring is in good condition and I would say at least 16awg then you're good to go 👍
Yes you can but make sure you solder on the single signal wire that comes with the warfet and not the dual (this is if you don’t want to take the gearbox apart
James Bertini if you don’t, polarity will be fecked, and if you switch which connector goes to the gun or battery, it will be proprietary to your own batteries/gun/charger
There is a "+" on the connector so you know where to solder the positive wire. You solder the wires to the short side of the connectors. Just remember that the male connector ALWAYS gets soldered to the gun and female connectors go on the batteries.
@@ArchieKeen1 no they have alot bigger hop window then all the other brands that's one of the features, that and it's a 6.01 on the hop window end and 6.03 at the other end and has a gradual change from one end to the other to basically do what the Miracle Barrels did just a different design
isaac shively well I have a prommy barrel and the hop window is significantly smaller than any of my other barrels, so much that it will just refuse to work with krytac hop rubbers, though it works well with g&g greens and Tokyo Marui rubbers, their krytac spec barrels have large hop windows and their brass returner barrels have wide hop windows
probably a macaron 60/70 degree since its the only one they make for aegs. theyr'e all I use phenomenal hop rubbers. They also make one so you can use gbb barrels like ML Crazy jets in aegs.

I've used 80s in a dmr, I didn't find the difference between a 75 or 80 to gain too much performance. In fact the 80s I had hop problems.

I love the hate! People buy and upgrade recoil shocks because they have the best recoil system in an AEG. They are made with weaker parts because they are designed to shoot sub 300 FPS. You MUST upgrade some parts if you want one shooting 400 FPS and not fall apart over the long term. People (like me) do this because we want the best experence. I want recoil and bolt stop function and I do NOT want to mess with the low ammo count and inconsistency of a GBBR. After owning one and using it for years I will never buy an AEG thats not a recoil shock. After feeling the recoil and getting use to the bolt stop function I would prolly quit airsoft over the option of using some non recoil shock gun. Hearing the internals of your gearbox instead of the clang of that bolt going back and forth is just gross! Sometimes in life its not always about getting away with the cheapest deal possible. Sometimes you just want to own something thats really nice and everything you wanted...

My Issue with 16g wiring was more in the grip. There was no way a motor would drop in and reach the bevel gear, it just got stuck in the grip.

I could only find steel finished 6.03 SHS barrels in the local shops, are they as good as brass one?
I hear valkens are just rebranded SRC guns, but correct me if Im wrong. Anyways, do u like the ZCI barrels? They're 6.02 and work pretty well for me
N8 nope, you are right. Though their older first gen guns seemed like they were oem g&g.

This probably sounds stupid but when installing deans connection does it matter which way round they go and if so which way round do they go?

I've only seen one type of brushless motor so far, so yes, you can but cant say anymore about it.

I love my Valken but the hop up bucking is shit. Other than that decent internals for the price and decent quality externals. It's pretty standard nothing special.
