@@patrickelhag I actually love the sound of Swedish, I suppose it has some kind of exotic, mysterious vibe to it (maybe only if you don't speak it 😁). Still nice to know what's it about though, definitely a little darker than I'd have expected.
I'm not a spotify user but I'm already skimming your youtube channel, and "Stockholm Im Juli" has been on my all-time favourite playlist since like 2017 when we had the German version on single-repeat on the music box for three days straight on a sports team weekend getaway with 30 people at a remote cabin in the Austrian mountains. So I hope that counts for something 😝

You see, the reason why I chose to record a German version was that some of my "Sweden-Loving" German friends got obsessed with the Swedish one, and asked me to translate it for them. Mostly for fun. That's how the idea was born.
Obviously, you (and maybe some of your friends) are among those who belong to the segment of "Sweden-lovers" Germans (or Austrians?)😉
In other words, I, like "Stockholm im Juli," have found an optimal target audience😃
You have no idea how much your words about having it as your favourite, and playing it on repeat for three days in the Austrian Alps warmed my heart.😍
It's things like that that make the effort of recording and releasing music worthwhile.
It's just a little unfortunate that you didn't reach out to me back then, so I could have recorded a video greeting on Insta, or something for you and your friends...
But hey, there's talk of a remix coming soon since the Swedish version is actually from 2014, and celebrating its 10:th anniversary this year. So maybe it's not too late😀
If it turns out well, there might even be a German remix. Probably something completely different from the original but still.
