This just my thoughts
Prime(upperbelts) : very smooth, well connected, well balanced and resonant. But she can get pretty inconsistent and sometimes get throaty and stuck but overall her upperbelts are much better in prime, unlike now, her upper belts can get really rough and she really strains there.
Midbelts(present mariah) : IM NOT SAYING her midbelts are bad in her prime. Infact I think she did better bcs her midbelts in her prime are much cleaner and less pushy. But subjectively speaking i prefer her midbelts now, bcs its so meaty and the ringing quality tho! Idk if its bcs of her aged voice, but I just like it now. And dont get me started with the rasp!!! Im a sucker for those!
