Nobody in the history of anything ever used chains for ripping stones out as a siege weapon. Also they're just... pulling stones out with their bare hands?
What. The. Fuck. Is. This. Show? We've seen decades of movies and TV shows about medieval sieges. It's 2024. Why shoot this trash this particular way?
Elrond, Arondi, no! If he was turned by Morgoth and Sauron personally, you both need to run away and leave him for someone who saw the Trees. That is a Gil Galad level problem, way outside of your pay grade.
I hope Arondir isn’t dead
Didn't watch season 2, and I am glad I saved my precious time. Tf is this?
It's a shame that Adar taking Galadriel's ring from Elrond amounts to nothing
Gay elf somehow survived
Awesome elf.
@Ragitsu no, its gay elf
@@noahgraff-uw8rs Awesome gay elf.
@@Ragitsu no really, im pretty sure its just gay elf
@@noahgraff-uw8rs Isn't the actor homosexual? The character is heterosexual.
2:24 I like the look Adar's sword.
Look like the swords of night king commanders in GOT. All of this serial is a fuc...ing copy
The height of unoriginality is astounding.
Scipt writers were slaughtered for years, writer strikes lost one after another, bad writing shouldn't come as a surprise
@@maxisaev568 dude but this story has already been written and they decided to do it different and worse lol
@@willbaskin700 turning the book into film script is a work too
I understand Arondir somehow surviving because I didn't understand why they tried to kill him off that easily but to show up again unscathed with zero battle wounds as if he just woke up from bed and arrived for war is crazy. Even marvel could not write such a silly story line unless there is an explanation awaiting us in the next season, which doesn't make sense.
If Adar and Arondir had a proper fight. I would've been rooting for Adar to kill him. We all knew Adar was going to die at the end of season 2, so we have to give him at least one win. Plus, the show suffers from an obviously bloated cast. Killing Arondir would've been fine. I just wished Adar had gotten a proper showdown with him. The guy's been in 2 seasons, and we've never seen him fight.
Looks like Elves are not only immortal, they are also very hard to kill. Just saw Celebrimbor last episode, they obviously wanted to beat the Torpedo Arrow record of being shot of LOTR Boromir with that.
i love this scene, and im sure arondir isn't dead! that wasn't a death scene for sure ~ besides, he brings great quality to the show, his character adds a lot.
Robert Aramayo as Elrond has been one of the huge highlights of this episode, what a force of an actor he is, the ACTING 🔥and I'm holding onto that one suspicion-theory of some that Adar is Maedhros 👀👀
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic, or if you actually believe the crap you say you do.
@@seanmiller5460 not sarcastic at all - and my opinion is not crap, love. Before you say anything, yes I've read the books. And THIS is an adaptation. Look it up if you don't know the meaning of it ;)
why he did not kill him is adar had some relationship with his grand mother as he mention before....
Yeah...Arondir survived somehow.
The people making this show really had no idea what they were doing did they?
Now I know why elves Ignored the dwarves in the Hobbit movies when they also needed their help.
Arondir is not dead.
He was in episode 8 as if nothing happened.
When you wrote that he took Galadriel's ring my mind where somewhere else for some reason.
Nah he's fine. Tis but a scratch
He doesn’t even die in the show. The very next scene he’s in running around and fighting again. They literally forgot this happened
Arondir just suddenly appears after death with zero explanation.
Its worst than how many times Frodo acted dead only to suddenly be just fine because of that dainty mithril T-shirt...
No impact injuries no broken bones not even a jacked up gall bladder... after a cave troll
My questions is why doesn't Adar kill Elrond? He has him, he's killed Arondir (or has he), but lets Elrond live? Why, just why?
This show is utterly ridiculous the guy clearly got killed and somehow he magically reappear the next episode with no explanation 😂
Excuse me, his name is Don Lemon-las, get it right
If we don't see someone die, they're still alive. It's a pretty common trope in films and TV.
correct😂
Arondir has two short swords, then just leave the other sword while fighting the villain with one short sword? Does that make any sense to you or did he lost his advantage?
The orcs look more elfish then the elves
Elrond, wow. Can’t believe he just acted like a mook here.
Don't worry, Arondir hide under the dumpster. Adar actually killed Nicolas
That swordstaff is kinda cool.
Look to the North, the direction from which the sun rises...
remember they said this gonna be greater than helms deep battle well its not just gimli counting hes kill hold the all the episode
Arondir dead??? I loved his character! Say it isn't so.
he might be injured unless he died we wont know till next episode
The show runners are fans of Disney's star war, a wound like that is but a scratch at best.
Yes his dead... Killed by real Tolkien fan
@@ragnarok222 Yes indeed, good riddance.
Finally Arondir is gone. I was really celebrating
One of the best non-canon character in this crappy series, And u were enjoying his death 👏
@@mousommaji1642 of course I did. He‘s an empty character
@@mousommaji1642 we all know the reason why this character even excisted so thank god he‘s history. Regret to tell you, he is not gone.
@@ydvishwanathan3239 that would be an even worse writing, although I thought that wouldn‘t be possible
U should've added the orc metal ending credits 🤘
How they able to fight when its light out?
I don't think he'd just die like that.
Someone was watching too much star wars
@@thedarkone9552 Bruh, he literally moved right after he got kicked he isn't dead.
@@DarkLordSauronrocks you don't die in a second. Dying is actually ugly, even in fiction or cinema when it's sometimes romanticized.
@@thedarkone9552 it is, but not in cinema.... he is 100% alive.
Good thing the plot dictated that a siege army can walk up to an elven city unmolested.
You didn't watch the full episode did you. It was hell for both sides. Artillery raining down on the city while elven arrows from the cities defenses massacring the approaching force. It was endless fighting all night before this scene. They undoubtedly ran out of arrows.
Elrond waiting dwarfs helps as thorin beign ingonerd by thranduil army at dragon atack
Arondir is not dead, he will be in season three
This prequel series tries hard to humanise the orcs. I don't see the point when in LOTR they're just mindless dumb machines. Nuanced morality isn't exactly Tolkien's strength.
While Tolkien was indeed not one for nuance, they're not "dumb machines" in the books, more like deeply alienated subjects of an authoritarian state. They can have conversations and individual inspirations, it's just never much pleasant.
@@TheFiresloth Lol no. They are monsters, eviI beastly creatures and nothing else.
Seriously we couldn't even get a proper showdown between adar and Arondir
Arondir would’ve likely given him a good fight. I was expecting Elrond vs Adar
Well I hope I get something next episode. I seriously want to see Adar go boss mode
Turns out he was just being dramatic, hardly a flesh wound really.
