Thanks for sharing, but am curious, what part of the country are you located at, sometimes i worry that i have opened or winterized a hive too cold so i duct-tape the joint that i opened just to help them out a little, am from N Mo., and did not have much nector this fall due to drought.......

I'm in West Virginia. We don't get many droughts but we do get very cold weather because of our elevation.
