Nice! I cut my grip after it was already on the controller, which was kind of annoying and it scratched my controller a little bit, but it didn't mess it up at all. So, if you are able to tell where it needs to be cut before putting the grip on, that would probably be a good choice!
If you play on a standard controller and don’t play claw, some paddles would definitely be solid. Otherwise a full controller grip is pretty nice as well

Na be real, a Kontrol freek makes it so u can make more precise movements on ur right sticks so why would U want it to take longer for your movement stick to activate
At least for Fortnite, every single good player I've seen that uses Kontrol Freeks uses the galaxy. I think on their website they list which grips are best for which games
U don’t need one for your movement stick, only aim stick. At the end of the day it’s for micro adjustments and you don’t really need to adjust your movement. I could honestly see it being used for an apex legends player though.
The rings are made for you to have faster sens. If it feels slow put it higher it will help you control higher sens

i use the green ring on high sens and it makes everything feel smoother
