I initially backed the Phonocut Kickstarter but they didnt provide any samples longer than 10 seconds so I withdrew my funding.
I use an inverse RIAA equalisation board followed by a 32 band Yamaha EQ for little adjustments , an UREI limiter compressor and two Shure SR 105 Solid State Power Amplifiers. I don´t build cutting heads for sale.
This is so amazing! I would like to cut a record of my own songs. Is it possible? And do I need to mix the song differently or the same mix will be fine? Please advise.
Hi Its possible to cut your songs on a record. There are many people doing it. I'm located in Germany but you will find somebody near your location. Search for : Lathe record cutting Bass notes should mono/ in the center of your mix.

No,groove spacing is only adjustable by a pot.

what drivers/speakers work best for the cutting head? I'm trying to get mine working but it's not cutting as loud as I'd like and is lacking high end.

Was it 78 speed to begin with? If so how did update speeds to 45 or 33?
No,it was and is a 3 Speed by changing pulleys on the motorshaft that drives the idler wheel.

No,that are audio transducers

The cutting stylus is a long shaft diamond stylus from "MY SHANK", a french company.

300W Amplifier, 20W drivers (?)
Thats what I had at home ,but for new professional cutter heads like the Souri 300 Watts is recommended.
