Dope content. Thanks for the info. Question? How many plays can you get out of this style of pressing. Im guessing it’s not the same as a dub plate.
It’s definitely not close to a dubplate. I have lathe cut records from 2017 that still sound great. They are a little more fragile compared to a standard press but should have no problem playing and lasting for years with proper care.
Swift… would consider pressing a purchased album off band camp….?

These are just lathe cuts audio has not changed. The difference would be the clear vinyl for 01. Also the fact that it’s hand made.

In my experience lathe cut records have very shallow grooves, does that cause skipping issues when scratching?
For me yeah. Dust and shit also accumulate way faster. Generally even tho they last longer and are for certain better quality I treat 'em like dubplates. Meaning, baby 'em.

The groove distance depends on who's cutting your project. The more you try and squeeze on one side the smaller the grooves.
