I'm sitting here in shock. All these years, I could have been making stock with my smoked turkey wings and the meat would easily fall off the bones instead of my having to slice into and pull it all off. I was putting them in the pot along with everything else, then pulling the turkey legs or wings out and pulling off the meat which was not tender, then putting the meat back in the pot with the greens. I'm trying your way this year. Thank you, Carolyn! I'm a long time subbie.

This is how my mama and aunt taught me to cook greens they used salt pork, but I’ve always used some type of smoked meat (brisket or rib minus the bbq sauce), and we use kale never tried it with spinach. That’ll be my go to next time. Fun fact I HATE greens cabbage etc won’t eat it, but I amaze everyone that I can cook it. Love the broth, but hate the textures 😫😂😂

The Latinos the white folks Jews, Gentiles and Italians tore them up. So much flavor. I didn’t add anything, just as Mrs. Carolyn demonstrated and they tore them up. Big Thanks again Mrs. Carolyn. They tore them up and requested I make them for their family and gatherings. GD seasoning I love it, I buy it and I recommend it.
