This is truly helpful. Thank you guys. A knee flexion one will be helpful also. Did a ACL & Meniscus surgery 5 months ago and unfortunately my development is slow.. but sure. Surgeon advised me to stay a month after the surgery without bending, did that, so now flexion is very difficult. Hyperextension still was not up top. This is helpful. Thanks again. 🙏🏿
As always great video bu I thought, when extending the knee, the tibia (the shin bone) externally rotates relative to the femur (the thigh bone). This movement is known as the "screw-home mechanism," which locks the knee in full extension, providing stability while standing. During knee extension:In an open kinetic chain (when the foot is not fixed, such as when kicking), the tibia externally rotates on the femur. In a closed kinetic chain (when the foot is fixed, such as in a squat), the femur internally rotates on the tibia. This external rotation is essential for the knee joint to achieve full extension and stability.
These are great! I have a Prehab membership and use it everyday. Where will I find these specific moves on the app? I’d rather not rewatch the RUclips video everyday
What if your knees contracted in flexion from weakness, not surgery or any findings of anything? Made me bedridden for 6 years. I've made some progress with strength training and back on my feet, but I'm still contracted, so I walk on my tippy toes and can't walk the whole day like I normally could. Any thoughts?
Why is this more helpful than the PT that I pay $80 an hour? 🙃 Thanks so much for this video explaining the nuance of everything!
Appreciate the kind words! So glad you enjoyed!
They want you coming back.

So glad you enjoyed it! Love the idea of a knee flexion video for ACL! We will see what we can do!

These are great, thank you. Could you consider a video for kneeflexion post surgery please?
Love the idea!

Check out our Knee Extension Overhaul Program in the [P]rehab App! So happy that you are a member! Enjoy!
Marvelous. Great for feet too

It's been 13 months of my surgery and I still have FFD. Will my knee joint become normal if I do rehab?
Great question! This would require a thorough evaluation, we recommend consulting with your care team to get a better idea!
