I find this very helpful to connect the polyvagal to addiction treatment. From the work of Gabor Maté, Stephen Porgess, Deb Dana and some others. Thanks you Jane! André, from The Netherlands.

Wow! I can't tell you how excited I am to find your work. I have an extensive trauma history and began my career as a trauma ICU RN. I am now in a masters program for addiction counseling and have been searching for a way to connect the polyvagal theory to addiction. Since many clients have co-occurring mental health challenges as well, I'm curious as to whether you have studied / used your work in populations such as those with ADHD? Thank you!

I know not how useful this may be to your current work, but I felt moved to mention that the carnivore ketogenic diet sometimes can ameliorate or reverse ADHD symptoms.
RUclips forbids links, but there is some emerging research studies about it too.
The channel NoCarb life also has video testimonial anecdotes of full remission.
