Wonderfully educational! I wonder if we would still have an official "Laundry-day" if the British had just decided to wash and bathe like the Vikings...
What do you think the interpetation of laugardagr as being derived from loki (more specifically the lodurr version of his name) amd saturday having the same root, from the celtic god sætere, which is basically a version of loki?

Last year I went to Waterford, Ireland and saw you as King Reginald in full VR glory. Soo glad to see that you are making videos again.
Thank you!
Did you enjoy the VR experience?
@@TheStoryteller- it was great fun, the acting was great, you should play more kings :)
I have! I played Erik Bloodaxe in a roadshow that traveled all over Europe for a couple of years. Follow the Vikings Roadshow!
That was great fun!
@@TheStoryteller- tnx for the tip, I definetly keep an eye out for that. btw good luck with your upconing livestreams, that stuff can be a bit tricky
Thank you Thomas! I'm really looking forward to more stories from you! Cheers!

Personally I think it's a fun hypothesis, but ultimately it holds little merit.
