    I’ll be making a few videos with the parts that I won’t be using from the 351w I tore down! Hopefully I can sell and use some of that money to fund the machining of the pitted block 😢😂🤙

    Great video Luis! I bought the O-rings and pintel caps to rebuild my 19# injectors. I did not have a flow tester. I found EV-6 injectors half price and bought those. Great job!

      Thank you Rick! When it comes to injectors I like running EV6 units too, specially on a Mustang, the spray pattern is far superior. The only problem is that there are a lot of Bosch knock-offs being sold from china, and those only work for a short period of time. I always run used explorer units 😎👌

      @@MrBlitzkrieg1987 I heard about that issue. These were rebuilt and flowed original Ford explorer injectors. It was a deal for $110. I got very lucky! I have a used set as well,but was afraid to mess with the pintel caps, and baskets on those. Saving them in case.

    Hey there, great video. What did you use to clean the rail besides the steel wool?

    • @MrBlitzkrieg1987
      @MrBlitzkrieg1987  2 месяца назад

      Hi, thank you for watching and leaving a comment. What you see me using in that video is actually diesel fuel, I was testing it out as a degreaser, but honestly it doesn’t work very well and it smells kinda bad! I’ve used kerosene as well which does a better job. All that stuff is flammable, so you can also get away with using regular simple green or dawn soap with warm water! But make sure you dry everything really well and spray the inside of the rails with wd40 after to prevent corrosion!

    Fantastic work! What tools are you using for the flow test, and ultrasonic cleaning? I actually MADE money on my 351. I bought the motor for 400, then sold the heads, intake, injectors, PS pump, exhaust manifolds.... and I made 500 off all of it. That paid for my Flowtek heads I got off The Corral.

    • @MrBlitzkrieg1987
      @MrBlitzkrieg1987  11 месяцев назад +1

      The flow bench I am using is by a manufacturer called launch, it works well enough for anything you want yo do at home in your garage, but there are bigger and better benches you can get! That’s awesome, you made a killing off them parts, I hope I can get some money for all the parts I won’t be using as well, Im not expecting to get that much! But if I do I’ll probably get me a nice set of pistons and also machine the block 😂🤟

      @@MrBlitzkrieg1987 I got 100 for the E7 heads, LOL. I guess the 1/2" holes are harder to find. I forgot to mention above that I also sold the F4TE cam. Got 75 for that. Then 150 for the intake/injectors/rail, and t-body.

    Is there a way to safely remove the metal lines from the plastic/rubber connecting tubes? Or do I just have to do the cleaning with those still connected?

    • @MrBlitzkrieg1987
      @MrBlitzkrieg1987  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hello, those are actually crimped onto the metal lines, if they are damaged Ive seen people use high pressure fuel injection lines with clamps to replace them… but they don’t come off to clean the rail without being destroyed

    My injectors are leaking down, about 20 psi in 1/2 hour. Would ultrasonic cleaning fix them?

    • @MrBlitzkrieg1987
      @MrBlitzkrieg1987  4 месяца назад +1

      Its very possible that the carbon deposits and buildup on the tips are preventing them from sealing correctly. But also keep in mind that depending on the injectors you have some may leak due to damage from the ethanol in today’s gasoline. What kind of car is it?

      @bellasvistas3463 you may be able to service the ones you have, if you want to replace them I would recommend getting some Genuine Bosch injectors (Amazon and eBay sell “new” Chinese injectors even if they say they are bosch stay away from that. ) you are better off servicing yours or buying some remanufactures units like these www.ebay.com/itm/305133932665?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=J_KkMPQWS6m&sssrc=2051273&ssuid=J_KkMPQWS6m&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
