I have been reading fifty five years...intensely trying (and succeeding often) to discover/find honest fine investigative reporters telling the truth about this country since the mid 1800's and on I guess. I wish a movement would begin, and have success in taking the most crooked, evil creep J Edgar Hoovers name off the FBI bldg. What does this say about this country that this FBI leader, worse than any mob character, reigned for 48 years and intimidated presidents so they would not be taken down one way or other. Tim Weiner wrote a story on the NY Times, WELL KNOWING that as a result of this, the man he wrote about was going to get killed . You can hear the story on Malcolm Gladwell's excellent podcast Revisionist History. The episode is called " The Road to Damascus". I am absolutely appalled by this man. If he doesn't show any remorse, I wish with all my heart that his end be like the end of Ivan Ilyich. You can have all the power you want now. But in your death bed you will have to face your CONCSCIENCE.
