Yeah, it's definitely not Armored Core. It's closer to Titanfall but you are trapped inside the Titan and in 3rd person view. And it's an extraction shooter? Also the Magus needs to stop prattling about every minutae. I take Ayre's backseat gaming moment any day.
coming from the anime, im going to be honest, it wouldve been cool if you could see it in "first person" how titanfall 1 does it when you enter the titan, or a VR first person, and to only take it to third person with the magus skill, so that whenever youre just cruising you can just interact with your magus ┐(´ー｀)┌
looking more into the exploring part of the game, it would've been interesting if youd be able to leave your coffin so that you can explore ***inside*** of old ruins, just like the main character in the anime was doing in the very first episode there could even be a home you can buy stuff for, and even go to the nest where you compete against other cradlecoffins so that you can bet parts, currency, and other items (hopefully not magus's but I guess anything goes like in the anime) they can make the amasia ruins spread throughout the world so that you can risk your loot against strong to earn strong type zero magus' by with magus skills pure chance, and have the ability to leave them at your home, and have the capacity of magus depend on how much you've invested into it, or the size, idk but it would be nice, even then I'm not sure since this is a beta

It felt a lot like single player in my experience so far. Before you go into the South area (where there's sure to be more pvp), you unlock the co-op function where you can request to team up with another player. If you do team up, you stand to gain additional rewards.

Suddenly your npc follower backstabs you, steals your resources and swears on the voice chat. and then it clicked that it was a player and you are in fact not playing a single-player game.

I'm a mecha nerd. If you put giant robots in something, I am on board. This beta made the game a hard pass from me. How do you drop the ball this badly? If I feel like playing a mech game, I'll just go back to Armored Core.
I don't think any military pilot would like the idea of hopping into a machine with "coffin" in the name😅 That's usually part of nicknames given by crews as an insult/ warning about high death rates/ poor survivability design...
Si te molesta que hable mucho la IA, es porque nunca jugaste Titanfall, en realidad está más callada que en TF, solo que está en japonés y tienes que leer te molesta, pero en TF y en tu idioma, la IA era muy útil

The origional trailer the game focused mostly on pve, and class system. This being a extraction shooter with the enemy density of a desert planet is a hard no. The only way to salvage it is if they make it high enemy density and build the final into something that resembles mw3 zombies more then fortnight. I think that requires too much thought and this game will be stripped of any of the elements that make the anime or universe unique in favor of a generic fortnight.
So far it's anime accurate tho. You won't really see much but ruins.😅 Why you want mw3 zombies or Fortnite when they can aim closer to armored core instead? 😅

Just like Titanfall, this isn't a mech game, it's a third-person shooter game with some minor mech elements here and there. Though I can't say anything for the game itself, I can say that anyone coming expecting a mech game will be sorely disappointed.
Extraction PvPvE is a hard pass. I was looking forward to this and even got the beta invite. Never even d/l'd it cause it just didn't seem like anything I'd play anyway. Thanks for the gameplay! Now back to Dragon's Dogma...

Movement is terrible and engagement distance is awful. Who thought it was a good idea to make you shoot at melee attackers with a 15 second time to kill after engaging them at arms reach?

@@NguepNang hasta ahora solo online, el cooperativo se puede con cualquier jugador que te encuentres en el mapa, siempre y cuando ellos acepten una alianza, como dije es prueba, puede que cambien varios aspectos porque si hay muchos puntos que reducen tu experiencia de exploración

I don't like playing 1st person. Prefer 3rd for the area awareness and being able to see the customization on my mech.
