Imagine being so skilled at your job that the only thing you are comparable is to something straight up designed to one specific task. Thinking about it, the peak of art is either hiperrealism (comparable to a camera) or being compared to an ai
I've always wanted to join Chroma Corps, but not only does the competitive nature stress me out beyond belief, I also don't do full illustrations (let alone daily) and thus don't even get close to being good enough to join. I'm really hoping to achieve the skill level needed for it someday, seeing your improvement is incredibly inspiring. Not kidding when I say I have serious respect for the artists that managed to pull through!
it makes me a bit sad that your art was being compared to AI ... i guess i can see it, but i am sad that we are in a time like that where a very hard working artists is being compared to a bot. your art is very beautiful, maybe having rougher textures and brush strokes could help it look less like AI ?
I refuse to accept being compared to AI as a negative critique and I truly don't believe anyone should change their art just because the style resembles somewhat to AI. Especially since I'm sure that given a few more years, AI will be able to replicate any style and a distinct "AI style" won't even exist anymore (or at least most AI generated images won't be distinguishable based on style anymore).
AI doesn't even have any kind of style. You can literally program it to resemble anything . The problem with AI art, and the fact that we can differentiate what is made by a bot or not, is simply the design flaws, not any kind of stylistic approach.
I've never seen your content before, but after watching your video and how you progressed is really cool, and inspiring. I've always been scared of contests and deadlines, but you made it look so much fun and stressful at the same time 😂 Amazing work, can't wait to see what wonderful art works you create in the future ❤
I absolutely loved watching this video! I was suprised you only got 1 point in those last few, the composition and colouring and just everything of your art is so beautiful!
This is so so cool! I am an animation student and I am really trying to push myself to have the confidence to make more full illustrations and this video has seriously inspired me!!! I love the way you stylize things and how much fun you seem to have with your art, I can't wait to try some of the techniques you showed in this video!! ✨✨
congratulations for getting this far and especially for pushing through! It takes a ton of discipline to crank out high effort pieces consistently over such a long time!
Woahh kuzillon, it's great to see you, I didn't know you had a RUclips channel! Very cool behind the scenes, hope to see you in Chroma Corps next year!! :>
Your work is incredible, from one artist to another, I’m truly sorry your art was compared to AI…I have also experienced the same on Instagram which is weird because I always figured my stylistic approach was scruffy and unkempt haha, but yeah people literally asking me “What prompts did you use?”, even worse was one of my art students asking me a few months ago “Miss, my brother had a look and said maybe your artwork is from AI prompts”… it’s so hard to explain the feeling when that happens, part of you is angry, but the logical part tells you to that it’s not their fault. Now I’m having to put a Timelapse process alongside my works. I feel for those of us who truly live, breath and have made art essentials our “blood type” ..we can pick up and distinguish AI from a mile away, as artists we are able to see the heart and soul of a true artists work, the small details, placements and compositions are so telling of an artists passion and again the “soul” that is put into genuine art from scratch is very readable. Soul and readability is something AI typically lacks if you stare at it long enough. Well done to you though for handling it with grace and dignity. Keep inspiring as you are! 🧡
This was so awesome! This is the first video I've seen from you, but you're such an amazing artist, and you make awesome content! New subscriber for sure
Great recap! This is the first time hearing about this, I'll definitely pay more attention to it moving forwards! I love how much more viberant and warm the colours became and how you made both the characters and perspective more playful in your reworked drawing :) So much more character in them, great job!
Your art is absolutely insane, I am a 100000% in love and you've inspired me so much from just the first piece! amazing job, I'll work hard so I can be as good as you one day
Your work is absolutely incredible! Every piece in this video was amazing, I was especially drawn to the cat with the self destruction button. So clear and readable with a funny story to it
It is unjust that you’re not at 1million subs!! Your art is amazing, and you’ll grow exponentially if you stick at RUclips 😊 I’ve found a new favourite!
Hi Kuzillon, amazing job you did. I’m curious, what did you work on in the last year to improve your work? I’m really stunned by you creating dynamic full illustrations on a near daily basis. What would you recommend to someone aiming to do the same, but also with limited time? I work professionally by day, but my personal work doesn’t go this direction and I’d like it to. Thank you : )
Thank you! I spent most of my time doing mastercopies of other artist's work I liked, filling sketchbooks with both referenced drawings as well as trying to sketch out creative designs from my head, and using what I learned in my own work. Doing a complete illustration daily on top of a busy work week isn't great for you long-term, but I think the best thing to do with a busy schedule is set aside a small amount of time each day for working on art that isn't overwhelming for you, even just 45 minutes a day will probably get you a full illustration by the end of each week
@@kuzillon thank you for the response, I appreciate :) So Master copies of artists you want to emulate. Then applied practice, I’m sure. I’ll try to keep that in mind then, and continue to push in the direction I want to go Again, you’ve done a great job. I’m really impressed with the compositions you came up with in such short time spans. As someone who can’t actually visualize, it’s a battle I fight every day and usually compensate for with mountains of reference. But it’d be nice to make something off the cuff. Maybe it will be possible At some point

just for some feedback! OH JEEZ I loved this video so much! It was well put together. Also, welcome back! this is the first video i have seen of your's, and I'd just like to say that your art is amazing!
