I’m really enjoying this! Thank you all. Standards have really gone sky high. As Julian Bream said to me, when I visited not long before he died, “The young today are knocking spots off me.” Bravo, the lot of you. You’re a supreme pleasure to listen to. Thanks again! RAHG
It is so encouraging to see this young generation of classical players maturing. The older players are retiring and passing and these young players will take their place. Thank you, Siccas, for sharing this.
My god, such beauty, such feeling, discipline, intelligence and caring . . . Thank you for restoring my seeing a reason for living. . . . . Jazz and blues musicians talk about "being in the groove;" well, listen to this!
I agree that Classical guitar has it's own groove but one that is very different to Jazz and Blues which is a polyrhythmic syncopation. The two schools have a lot in common and Jazz certainly borrowed a lot from classical. But groove is precisely one of the elements that classical musicians struggle with when trying to play jazz. Personally that's why I'm focusing on classical music while learning to read. Reading syncopation is just a headache for a beginner.
Thanks to Siccas Guitars for this concert! Wow, Juliane, you really played Mertz's Tarantella with attitude! And your fingers were moving a mile a minute at the end there! Likewise, I loved your rendition of Romanze. Very nicely done!
Wow very good job 👍👍👍 Is a summing up of all your work you made all these years in music pieces for guitar in 19th century; Very interesting!!! Music love and greetings with health safe from Greece!!!👍🎵🎶🙏😀🇬🇷🎸
thanks for making available this wonderful collection of videos, accessible at the click of a key, a wealth of delights beyond the imagination of previous generations
In the Grand Solo op by Fernando Sor, I love watching Julia's face as she plays--it seems she gets as much satisfaction playing it as I do hearing it! She plays so well (they all do)! I'm really impressed with her ability to strum full chords while playing tremelo. She's amazing, I wish she'd come and play for me.
Juliane Bergemann, I can listen over & over to you play those two Mertz songs (Tarantella and Romanze), and I love them each time a little more. Such nuances the way you play! Sometimes I just close my eyes and listen, but I also enjoy watching you: your fingers gliding over the guitar neck, and the look of joy on your face. I swear, last week I found a RUclips video of Segovia (the Master, right?!) and he was playing Tarantella... but I swear, it didn't sound nearly as good as when you play! Really, it's like he left some notes out or something. And there were passage that you simply play better. Now, that's accomplishment!
Epoustouflant ! Quels talents, quels morceaux, quelles guitares ! Les interprétations sont de grandes qualités. Je me régale, je frissone, écoutes après écoutes, au bord des larmes. Merci
OMG! . . .the lot of you really deserve the title musician! What beautiful, nuanced, intuitively wonderful sound and phrasing. (Really, on a first date I don't ever gush like this!) The (first) guitar? Not even in my daydreams have I had sound so brilliant pierce me.
Julian Bergemann, that Tarantella by Mertz is a song with some attitude! And you play it well, with just the right attitude! Nicely done! I also really liked the next one (Romance?), you play with such feeling.
Subscribed before the first million! Great music, and love the format. Pro tip folks... I somehow got "Adblock for RUclips" automatically installed on my computer by Chrome I think. It eliminates all commercials on YT, is free, works...and it makes viewing a long presentation like this a dream.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful music! For those of us not in the inner circles, could someone please post the artists' names as you have done on other videos?
They are there, but you have to look quite hard to find them! Run your cursor along the play line. Not sure about the exact terminology here, but hopefully you get the idea.
That was fantastic!!! You put an awful lot of work into that!!! Was that Legnani? What piece? Beautiful guitar! What kind of wood? Where did you study? You are fantastic!!!
BREATHTAKING, the best instruments and players giving their best to some of the best composers! And, thanks to SICCA, What a treasure. We live in a renaissance of the classical guitar similar to the one enjoyed by painting late in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. Lucky us!
Most of this is new material to me, all awesome, the second entry-Cinza's conveyance of Sor's Opus6 no.6 was THRILLING ,and the most ... ENUNCIATED to my ear even as excitatory as most Joe Satriani, some Joe Walsh ( the🦅s), Steve Vai... Petrucci, Rush, Judas Priest, RATT, Iron Maiden, Ana Vedovich's rendition(something in me flows more in Ana's) of Isaac Albenez's ASTURIUS🤙 to "Birdland” by Weather Report (ft. best ever bassist, S. Florida's own prodigy Jaco Pastorious on bass🙄) to my bluesyhardrock ear. Love it all ...each strikes its emotion in me so certain days for certain productions. TY Siccas en 5:11 t al🤟
Hi everyone ! I lovee siccas guitar. Just wanted to check : ? Is the Tarantella played by Juliane Bergemann at 51:19 a little bit out of tune or is it the sound of the guitar ? Thank you ! Have a good day.

My favorite performance of this on classical guitar. Beautiful!
Such a great compilation. Thanks!
My only critique is that it would have been very nice to have the song names displayed in the video itself.
I didn't hear any song ... :-)
IF you tap the "crawl" at the bottom of the video it’ll show what each selection and artist is
@@a1ar127 Ah, I didn't see that because I was watching on my TV and not my computer. Doesn't show up on the TV.

The contained rage of Julia Trintschuk is quite impressive!
Rage? I might be more comfortable with "unapologetic passion!"
what a fantastic set of performances. IS there a list of the guitars used in this recording.

This keeps showing me the young lady on the Romanillos playing Legnani . I first heard Alexei Zimakov, the 1991 GFA Winner , play it .
When they do studio recordings of Marcin Dylla, how can they remove his breathing?
They simply put tape on his mouth.
That's a feature. He's following Glenn Gould
