Where were y’all at at release then?? Edit: Jennifer having a constant need to destroy her best friend’s happiness out of jealousy and control made me so mad. The only reason she targets Colin, the goth guy, is because Needy said he was cool and that she liked him. Then she goes chomping on her boyfriend. That all being said the boyfriend probably deserved it when you realize that he willingly went with Jennifer to the pool house and was kissing her before she starts eating him. I have also never noticed the cool little detail at 6:47, when she dies the color comes back to her skin, and she actually looks more alive dead than she did before Needy kills her.
This film also got poor reviews because it’s also very gay. Jennifer and Needy clearly have complicated chemistry. But it was well written and very queer.
This is what i think it happens, Jennifer was not jealous of needy, she was very in love with her but didn't know how to manage due to how her reputation of Queen bee would be affected at that time. The other thing i believe was that Jen try to control how Needy present herself and doesn't want her getting people's atention and not because she's jealous but cause she's very possesive and doesn't like to have competence, there's a deleted scene of Jennifers telling her that if she dies Needy wouldn't have nobody then Needy respond her "i have Chip" and right after that is when Jennifer decide to kill him, the same thing happened with Collin Even though i didn't like Chip, he wasnt a bad guy and i think Jennifer use to hypnotize the guys she decides to kill if you really pay attention BUT he definitelly shouldn't kiss her
Megan Fox is actually a really good actress, man. The amount of subtle facial emotion that she was able to show, stemming from her mind racing with thoughts, in this movie was so good. It's a shame that she. was typecast into specific character tropes

What? Not at all. Needy was a decent friend. Jennifer was always subtly putting her down, and surely Jen being a succubus was the driving point to kill her. Needy cared for Jen, and even defended her in that one scene where she thought the members of low shoulder was discussing Jen’s virginity.
This was actually a subtle love story between 2 best friends. I don't know if you caught it but the writers were often throwing in hints that Jennifer and Needy were secretly fooling around with each other and that Jennifer was jealous of Needy's boyfriend because she didn't want to share Needy as a friend or romantic partner. They also hinted that Needy was secretly in love with Jennifer/infatuated with her and didn't notice how manipulative and controlling Jennifer would be with her at times. Then there's the BIG in your face part about Jennifer being a man-eating demon, lol. Needy killed her because if she didn't she would go on to continue killing, not because she secretly hated Jennifer this whole time. You really missed the plot, lol.
