Thank you, Dr. Minerd, for tge observation about just going back to the text! Yes! Not that you used these words, but.. Resourcement is just an excuse to substitute the interpretation of one's *own* mentors or favorite -ism for the traditional one!
Glory to Jesus Christ! Yes. I am a Ruthenian Catholic. I have been on with Timothy a couple of times, so I probably too hastily presumed his viewers knew that I am a Byzantine Catholic!

@@matthewminerd7693 Glory to Jesus Christ! Nice! I am a latin catholic and although most of my time I'm in a benedictine monastery, I also attend Divine Liturgy in a Greek-Melkite Church since 2018 (I live in Brazil) and I really appreciate the byzantine rite and prayers. God Bless you!
@@teresaoftheandes6279 Glory to Jesus Christ! Depending on where you live, there are so few of our parishes! But, also, a mixed ritual household can lead to this kind of thing too! Many blessings to your family!
@ Glory to Jesus Christ! Thank you for the kind words! The Melkites near DC have probably the best Catholic-Byzantine Divine Liturgy in the US...! I have a deep affection for them, though the Arab liturgy is just a step outside of my own spiritual world. Nonetheless, when I'm in DC, that is my preferred place to go to liturgy!
Great topics!!

My husband is also a Ruthenian Catholic. We belong to a full time Latin Mass parish though.
