  • More and more schools are adopting the multiple mini interview (MMI) format. Are you prepared? We break down how to hone your MMI skills so you feel confident come interview day.
Multiple mini interviews are multiple small interviews led by a variety of different interviewers. The MMI format allows several different faculty members to form their own impression of candidates, offering a more complete picture.
Some schools stick to a very strict format, whereas others may blindside you with unexpected scenarios and questions. The varied format is what makes preparing for MMIs so challenging. You can never be 100% prepared because there are nearly limitless variables to contend with. You’ll need to think on your feet, as schools want to see how you react under pressure.
Follow our strategies to ensure you’re prepared for whatever interview season throws at you.

There’s always people who want to be doctors, to get to that really high place. There are only so many spots and all of them get filled. The objective is to make sure that as few of the people that are let in drop out, and so that’s what this process is for.

@@NuclearMagneticResonanceso how come there have been similar dropouts rates and match stats in the past without these new types of criteria to becoming a doctor?

We're currently at the beggining of a conference about the admissions for our university's med school, and thus video is going to be played now- It's so cool that it's going to be used here, I've been familiar with this channel for ages and it's honestly a good surprise, cause I'm in a 3rd world country and things generally go a bit differently here.
