nice to see you making sure the hotpoint is kept clean, I had to stop using 90c as much as my bill is £260 a month... so I've used 40c quite a lot but much prefer 60c. I had to stop using fairy as in a soft water area it couldn't be rinsed out, it made the candy and Hoover do 5 rinses with a deep level each and made the servis get confused and throw up an error code. another sudsy detergent is obvs Ariel pods but the new beko hates the gel too, found it trying to clean the floor like the miele! found out a few months ago I was using way too much detergent and then the Hoover broke down with e03 and e16 which means all the errors are caused by the heater. replaced it and it was covered in detergent residue. I don't really use synthetics on any machine expect the lg for a 60c for towels as it's having problems heating, contacting LG is useless even through it has warranty until 2026. The hotpoint uses slow tumbles on rinses so I don't hate but not a fan of it, the Hoover takes 1hr 57m so I just use baby at 2hr 14m and the beko I haven't tried but my old 6kg does fast ramp up and causes sudslocks like hell obvs on the new one it does slow other than on daily.
I bet the bekos I have are the worst nightmare for you with all the banging on spin 😂 I can only imagine how the hotpoint would cope with my towels, every single machine goes mental with them. even my sister's hotpoint went mental on fw 60c
Yes, I always do like to keep my machines clean, especially being in London, we're a VERY hard water area, as you can see has effected the Miele's door glass which is almost impossible to shift. I find Fairy very high suds too so, probably won't be going for that again. That's not good with the Hoover either that it broke down, wonder what caused the heating element to go? Yes, the fast acceleration on the Beko's does indeed cause a sudslock like the 2 I tested at BHF had that same issue.
I've just filmed a video of my Mum's Miele washer/dryer and slamed the door twice, though much harder than you did in this video. I hope I haven't broken it. 😱
Haha nice one Roger lol...hope your mother didn't catch you like mine has caught me! :) Don't worry, you won't have broken it..I've actually kicked the door on this machine when I had a very bad day and it's not even left a scratch :)
I really love seeing your videos Brandon, now I know your name, lol. Good cycles on both machines and really didn't expect the Miele to win. My name is Tashan by the way just so you know :)
Oh, I didn't see your request pop up :(...I don't normally add people off RUclips though for safety reasons :) I am on Automaticwasher too which I saw you on there!
I never add people off here as I never really want people to see my profile and whatnot, as there are some people who could get me in a bit of trouble too..but I can definitely talk to you on here....
FlorenceBallardA3060 sorry for the late reply, i'm the same I never add people off here to. As I'm very careful with myself from just adding people. I do only have certain people on my Facebook. As you do have to be careful sometimes on the Internet. But i'm comfortable talking on RUclips. Are you going to be doing any more videos of the old Hotpoint?
Florence idk how to sort my clothes out in loads because my mum is out to work and she told me to do the washing and I have the same machine as u, can u tell me how to use it
Realised with the Miele I have to put it at the back as it doesn't fill with much water, the Hotpoint dissolves it regardless of position due to filling above the door seal.

great video yet again u must have quite a few followers now
It scared me too. When you focus at one point and out of the sudden you here the other machine spin up
I really love seeing your videos Brandon, now I know your name, lol. Good cycles on both machines and really didn't expect the Miele to win. My name is Tashan by the way just so you know :)
hey great video. can u wash a heavy mat in the hot point 9530 and see how it handles it. thanks
I'll be taking requests on the next video....I'll see, I might not do that as that would technically be abuse to the machine if it's too heavy
My washer scars me I run in the kitchen because mine vibrates a lot mine is a lg
Oh? I thought LGs didn't vibrate like that...is your's an Intellowasher or Direct Drive model?
The miele w5740 only does one rinse on express 20 when its on express 30 it does 2
What year is the Miele from? I love the white and shiny metal together and wow, does it clean laundry well!
It's manufactured between February 2008 and December 2009.
And of course it cleans well :) It wouldn't be a Miele if it didn't! :)
I don't know if you notice but I added you on Facebook the other day? I'm Sean Grundy

Which machine does she have like mine, the 9530 or the Miele?
For sorting the loads,, either sort them out via colours or by fabrics they are (Woollens, towels, silks etc)
FlorenceBallardA3060 the miele
FlorenceBallardA3060 ok
FlorenceBallardA3060 what about the control panel
Hi Brandon first viewer to watch your amazing video :D
Hey Josh thank you so much! Did you expect the Miele to win?
FlorenceBallardA3060 um! Spoilers! 😂
FlorenceBallardA3060 yes I did lol 😂
Cool vid Brandon, why didn't you shout me out in the vid?
I'll shout you out in another video I'm doing :)
The reason you tablet does not stay with the clothes because you should through the tablet at the back of the drum

My mom has a miele washing machine
Oh nice! Which model does she have?
