IKR? She literally said, "My Tarot cards said she did it, so give me Rebecca's entire documented livelihood so I can find what I need to prove it, despite the fact that I told TikTok that I had irrefutable evidence that I can't show until court."
What if Rebecca pulls out her own tarot cards and says she didn't do it, then the burden of proof based on tarot card rules 101 is no longer on Rebecca but the original tarot card reader 🧐

If this case is being held in Idaho that's one of the few states where you can't plead insanity. I'm also not sure if you can plead an insanity defense to a civil trial, like you can try but it doesn't really do much outside of a criminal trial.
Heavens! Last I knew, "spectral evidence" hasn't been taken seriously by the courts since the Salem Witch trials. I hope the court(s) quickly dismiss her frivolous lawsuits.
From my gathering of the situation, they arent taking her "evidence" to be real evidence, and instead are focusing on the harm that her public claims of the "evidence" has done to the others public image. (Defamation)
I think with defamation cases you have to have suffered monetary damages. Dead people can’t protect their reputations and unless she goes after the families’s reputations, there is not much they can do. I could be wrong, but that’s my understanding. If you say inaccurate stuff about me but no one believes it so it doesn’t affect my life, I can’t sue you because there was no harm. Again, I could be wrong.
Jeez! That woman is INSANE! All of that stuff is just a figment of her imagination and she believes it is reality. They need to institutionalize her and get her help.
@@cartooncritique6625 that depends. in 19th and 20th century spiritualism was quite popular, and before that if she was a nun, she'd still could be just fine with her bs if instead of her iNtUiTiOn and tarot cards she claimed holy visions and god's guidance.
If Ashley were hurting herself with this stuff, I wouldn't care. But when she dragged an innocent woman into this for no reason other than her own overblown ego, I started to care a lot. Ashley chose to make these accusations and chose the consequences. Rebecca did not choose this.
Prosecutors should also look into Ashley's past and if anyone she knows has any relation to Rebecca. Ashley sounds like a weirdo trying to defame her ex's girlfriend. If there is, she can be held accountable for reporting false crime due to malicious intent or something like that.
I would love nothing more than a televised court case. I would love to see Ashley take the stand in all her delusion. It would be better than the Darrel Brooks court hearing. 😂
But then Ashley gets attention and there will be supporters who believe her. With no televised case she gets no possible positive exposure due to the courts actions.
This "psychic" needs to pay for costs and damages and get a mandatory psych evaluation. She is delusional. It's all fun and games until she decides to take justice into her own hands.
If there is any good to come from this, it's that every time Ashley publishes a new 17 page manifesto of madness, it can count as a new instance of defamation. If Rebecca and her team wanted to, they could financially ruin Ashley for life. Not something I'd ordinarily wish on anyone, especially younger people, but when you double and triple-down on claims like she has, it can only be malicious.
I can no longer tell if she's insane or trying to fake a plea for insanity. Either way I guess she'll lose everything financially, which is still what she deserves for this TikTok Wattpad fanfic gone wrong.
This is all a brilliant defense. Defamation is “KNOWINGLY” making false statements. So if she can convince the Jury/Court that she truly believes in her craziness then they can’t prove she “knowingly” defamed her.
They in fact use reality in civil court, as opposed to what a person believes to be true. Mens rea doesn't apply. She also ignored a cease and desist order, which explained clearly that her beliefs were not based in fact. She's been told reality and chosen to ignore it. Good luck with that defence........😂😂😂
Does she really think her "spiritual intuition" is going to hold up as proof in court? That's just delusional.... What idiot lawyer even took this case up?
It's worse. I'm no expert, but listing her "investigative skills" with her "psychic abilities" in the tools she used to determine her accusations to be true likely will open the door for the professor's team to actually invalidate her spiritualist shield.
Oh no, i remember this retarded woman who speculate about a lesbian affair with a victim involved!🤔 I hope they throw her in a mental facility for a few years🙄

Honestly I'm not too certain she still isn't a grifter. One of the defenses they're trying to pull is that what she did doesn't technically count as defamation because in US law defamation requires that the defendant actively knows what they're saying is false and that knowledge needs to be provable. So by pretending to be literally crazy and drinking her own koolaid she's actually defending herself against defamation. Note that's *only* defamation, she could still get fucked over other stuff and in all honesty since her defense is literally "it came to me in a dream" I'm not even sure if that will be enough to protect her from defamation.

The fact that she’s essentially asking Rebecca to provide “proof” to back her crazy ass theory is so unhinged
Right? She's basically saying "if you didn't do it then why did my cards say you did?"
This is what these people do. They create these unhinged accusations but then say burden of proof lies with the person they created the conspiracy about.
Oh no, i remember this retarded woman who speculate about a lesbian affair with a victim involved!🤔 I hope they throw her in a mental facility for a few years🙄
What an awful woman. She deserves to be sued and jailed for a few weeks.
Maybe that can help with her 'intuitions'
That professor deserves EVERY cent that that woman has. Im going assume she has little but she needs to pay for starting such a DISGUSTING smear campaign and then doubling down.
Her own kid says he doesnt want to hang out with her.
The outcome from this shouldn’t be that she pays legal fees, it should be involuntary committal. She is clearly delusional to a detrimental degree.
People like this TikTok lady should go to jail for this type of harassment she is not only harassing the professor but dragging the victims families through more hell as if they haven't been through enough and they still have a trial to go through this lady is shameless.

From my gathering of the situation, they arent taking her "evidence" to be real evidence, and instead are focusing on the harm that her public claims of the "evidence" has done to the others public image. (Defamation)
At this point, I'm surprised that the families of the victims haven’t stepped forward and claimed the 'psychic' is defaming their children.

I was thinking the same thing. Like she knows she loss but if she keeps pushing this more and more, the teacher would just "give up".
People like this will never admit they were wrong
I think insanity can only be used in murder cases
This is all a brilliant defense. Defamation is “KNOWINGLY” making false statements. So if she can convince the Jury/Court that she truly believes in her craziness then they can’t prove she “knowingly” defamed her.
They in fact use reality in civil court, as opposed to what a person believes to be true.
Mens rea doesn't apply. She also ignored a cease and desist order, which explained clearly that her beliefs were not based in fact.
She's been told reality and chosen to ignore it. Good luck with that defence........😂😂😂
And we have these crazies running around loose. This is frightening 😱
Does she really think her "spiritual intuition" is going to hold up as proof in court? That's just delusional.... What idiot lawyer even took this case up?
There's a reason she's defening herself. None would.
Nobody apparently she's pro se
It's worse. I'm no expert, but listing her "investigative skills" with her "psychic abilities" in the tools she used to determine her accusations to be true likely will open the door for the professor's team to actually invalidate her spiritualist shield.

Kinda like accusing someone of being a witch
Pretty sure they are asking for a warrant to get access to all of that stuff, so yes, warrant needed. Of course, she is incredibly stupid, so maybe she intended to imply that they just go full swat on this lady.
I think she started out as a grifter. The problem is she drank her own Kool-Aid and doubled down to the point at which she can never, ever admit to heing wrong on anything. I think refusing to consider you're wrong genuinely fries your brain, and I think that's what's happened to her.
Lot of people like that nowadays
She was right about it being a teacher, though. I much prefer using an Oijoui board. I find them to be far more accurate. 🤣
