In regards to Felix response...I think people forget its the AMA's...its in reference to western music. BTS though amazing did not pave the way for boy bands in the west...they did help pave the way for Kpop boy bands to transition in the west, that's totally different to the question asked. Boy band existed way before BTS .This was also a collab with NSYNC so Felix naming them was the respectful thing to do.

@@Clare0724This all started with Army getting pressed the moment it was announced SKZ was chosen to go to that show. Talking like BTS were going to be the most honored with SKZ specifically as their substitute who were going 'to destroy some BTS song' and 'make Kpop look bad'. And then getting mad by what Felix said. So it's normal after all this ppl doesn't remain silent. Then they didn't take long to drag Chan, and put the 'paved the way' thing everywhere, etc.
There are toxic fans in every fandom, but making a fuss for this kind of things is something typical of Army or Blink. What the heck ? I'm ARMY ( only) and I agree with Felix! The question was which boy band paved the way meaning for all times! Although BTS indeed paved the way for Asian Artists they weren't the first boy band in the world! Felix's answer was a diplomatic one since they also did an homage to NSYNC! I would have wanted a more historically accurate answer from Felix like The Beatles or even better Jackson 5 ! But as I said before, NSYNC was a good enough answer! Well done Felix!

Don't be sorry, I think it's reactionary. You know? We know what it's like to always have your rightfully earned accolades pulled out from underneath you by people who didn't even see you earn them, or how hard you worked to earn them.
It tends to cause one to build up a reactionary defense mechanism inside themselves. Sometimes it gets to the point that you literally can't even tell that what you are getting upset about, isn't even the same thing as what you actually THINK you are getting upset about.
It would take everyone in the whole famdom realizing at the same time that MAYBE they need to cool down first. Aka, BEFORE they stand a chance at properly explaining what they think they will need to explain, haha. Then once cooled off, realizing it was a simple misunderstanding and all is good... we don't see rationally when someone we care about.
Even if it's not technically the case, is believed to need our defending... Simple as that. Also, every single fandom has its 1%... remember that. We all have it. And the biggest the fandom, the more people fall into that 1%. It tricks people into thinking those fandoms have more nasty people therefore they are more toxic, and they use this to imply that the group you care so much for is somehow attracting bad people.
The idols themselves aren't gold people, at least, not as good as theirs. "And the proof is in the toxicity"... Naw, not even close. Their fandom is just bigger at the moment. Simple as that. ARMY is not toxic. Neither is my deareat STAY. 😊 (Bad people don't feel the need to apologize for something that happened by proxy that they had absolutely no part of or ability to stop. 🩵)
We are all just individual people. We have no control over what others do. Yet we are expected to control millions of people? We are expected to take responsibility for perfect strangers who we know less than the people who's upset, because at least they saw the screen names of those who ARE guilty, we don't even have that! Lol
No, the fandom being blamed, no matter what happened, isn't the one doing soemthing wrong in that moment. It's anyone who belongs to tbe other fandom who is. Who's poking a bear, who's bringing controversy down upon their idols heads because they can't seem to put their idols wellbeing above their own momentary petty victory.
Futhermore... If someone does our groups wrong, its time we hold them accountable, not their fandom. Personal accountability. Because when we argue with someone in the comments, we lost the moment we say "toxic ARMY" or "toxic BLINKS" or "toxic STAY... Because we just attacked their group by doing that, escalating things.
We just did to them what we are tied of having done to us, which is do counterproductive. We KNOW that will trigger them, it's just so childish. And we ensure that they themselves don't have to deal with it, even though they would rather they were forced to themselves! 2 issues, solved by the same change. Stop blaming fandoms, personally accountability. It would really help.
Also, side note, it WOULD be great if the channels that post content on "netizens say..." but they only show 3 comments or whatever. We need to do something about that too. (Not talking about this channel. I definitely dont agree with this channel on a lot of stuff. Seriously, Like half! 😂 But I respect the fact that they don't do this, I respect it very much.)
So I would rather not agree with them and stay updated on my SKZ by a wellmeaning person who loves them too. Than someone who I agree with on most things... only they are using their platform to take nonissues, complaints or hate being disednout in a sinlg online thread on some platform internationally dominated fandoms don't even have access to, taking the 3 comment that say what they want to say.
Then, they use those to build a stronger narrative around the topic they want to speak on today, and TADA! Now you can make Millions of people think that another fandom filled with several other millions upon millions, that they as a whole are guilty of whatever, that they are responsible. So those channels are a big part of the problem too.

Pretty sure, those Army were - once again - korean ones. A lot of people have this problem that they live in their little bubble and have difficulties to comprehend outside of it. BTS paved the way for male k-pop groups on the international stage and for the male groups of today to be able to become what they are (e.g. with more freedom of decision and influence on their own music, which SKZ definitely have profited from).
But when it comes to the bigger picture, be it popularization of k-pop in the western world in general (which is mostly on PSY) or the success of boygroups in general (which was all the 90s western boygroups, like N*Sync, Backstreetboys, etc) or even the success of male idols in the music industry (which was, and i hate to say it, that POS Johnny Kitagawa, a japanese, and a disgusting human being), then it goes over many korean Army's heads.

Sorry Army but BTS did NOT pave the way for anything regarding American Music Industry!! We have had Korean artists here before BTS!! If you really want to get technical about it I would say JYP is the man that really paved the way! We had Rain, Wonder Girls, and Psy here before BTS. Would they like it if Justin Beiber went to Korea and stated The Beatles, Aerosmith, and Beach Boys paved the way at the ASEA or MAMA awards? Then, they may have a reason to hate on someone but don't friggin hate on Felix for answering a question about American music in an acceptable American way jeesh seriously get over it. Boy Bands have existed in the West, specifically the U.S. & U.K for decades before BTS existed or K-pop as a whole existed. The first real boy band is often considered to be The Beatles, who were formed in 1956. They were & still are worldwide known UK band.
Then followed the temptations, which were an American boy band who were known for their vocals, formed in 1960. You may know their song "My Girl" if you're American.
There were many more that followed like The Jackson 5 or New edition who danced and Sing like K-pop groups today and were formed in 1978, They sang, Dance, Rapped and had positions similar to your favorite groups.
Felix mentioned NSYNC, who they were collabing with for obvious reasons, but ARMYS being mad at this shows their ignorance to the orgins of where K-pop and it's successor J-pop got it's inspiration from.

There was gen 1 and gen 2 of kpop that paved the way for gen 3 which BTS is from. Gen 1 and 2 have performed around the world long before BTS did. Did you know that Monsta X was the first kpop group to perform at the Jingle Ball here in the USA?Do your research and stop being so narrow minded.

Agreed. Many early kpop groups were performing internationally before and early in the creation of social media (unthinkable for people born today). Acknowledging that someone came before, did things first before, etc. does not take away from the contributions and accomplishments of BTS. It shows a lack of maturity on the side of some fans.

Here's the thing, as a Carat, I can understand the difference between being a friend and being actually involved in terrible crimes. Just because DJ Khalid is of Palestinian decent, doesn't mean he has to speak out about anythispeeThats his choice. Being friends with Duddy doesn't mean he was involved in any crimes. Literally no other celeb has been charged or named. You literally dont know everything about your friends, so stop just being so quick to call someone a zionist. SA in SK is a issue but what do you think a celeb is going to do about it? Take that energy to the people who can actually do something-political leaders. Stop projecting someone else views onto other people. DJK views rep him and him alone.

trend whatever you want but coming into felix's comment section and writing "BTS PAVED THE WAY" is not the way to go. not the whole fandom but some of the armies have a really rotten way of thinking. i'd wish instead of supporting those rats you would call them out. each day they are becoming braver and bullying other fandoms. if you are so devoted towards bts you should all collectively do something about that.

    • @Serendipityyyyy1
      @Serendipityyyyy1 24 минуты назад

@@cacto3chan It's not like we like them or something. We have better things to do instead of fighting with them that's why we simply report them. Yk one thing you'll find stays under bts's related content more than armys under any other groups content. This is a fact and then no one cares to point them out but if any army even praise bts all the other fandoms gang up on that one person. Stop mentioning things like oh "skz this" ,"skz that" under bts related content. Make sure to call them out majority of stays are like that. It's mostly baby armys doing this but in your case majority of your fandom thinks it's cool to do that since y'all have normalize this too much
