7:34 That's got the same feeling as someone warning that there's something in the game that shouldn't be. As if the machine gun was so vital in defending against this malicious being that to forget picking it up would mean consequences so dire you couldn't fathom the depth of the anguish. I for one really enjoy the sudden switch to a horror aesthetic for things like that. Good shit. Small edit: Nice Ghost reference, that's a fantastic song.
first the ghost in the game is telling me to turn back, now it's just straight-up backseat driving? what next, is it gonna take the controller away from me if I screw up repeatedly? why is that a good concept for a game?
9:22 "And I will say that he knows a little more about fighting than you do pal because he invented it! And then he perfected it till no living man could best him in the ring of honor!" - Soldier from tf2
Funny thing about those dogs. You used to be able to feed them dog treats(or was it the ones near the lucky genish) and they will follow you. If you gave them mad cow or set them on fire, they will go around spreading both of those damage types for a really long time.
I don't think I could ever play this game on Ludicrous, but I could absolutely use the knowledge from these to get the achievements tied to the POSTAL difficulty. I'd love to see what strategies reveal themselves on Wednesday!
Something I never realized is that Gary Coleman actually did mocap for this game, and went to E3 to promote it. Crazy, this whole time I thought it was just a parody. Great work on the vid btw, I'm looking forward to these!
these are both beautifully edited and also chock full of info that even i didnt know even after playing for over a decade. keep up this amazing work. now, would you sign this petition?
6:05 so with some patience, you can actually kill the hellhounds with fire when some of them have been taken out, it helps to have dog treats to make them fight other than that, legendary bullet sponges
1:30 To be fair, that was the solution that Postal 2 Complete came up with for POSTAL and Impossible nearly a decade ago, so it's no surprise that you don't have to do them on Ludicrous either. Your Ludicrous videos are wonderfully edited and presented! Are you going to do the weekend and Paradise Lost once you've beaten all the weekdays?
Man i tought i have good knowledge of postal 2 about mechanics, npc, hp, weapons etc but you really impressed me Im exited for how this run goes keep it up!
This series popping up on my feed inspired me to pick up the game for myself, and I’m glad I did. Just finished my first playthrough of all seven days and it was an experience, to say the least. I had actually forgotten most of the secret techs and areas you showed off (the ones that appear on average difficulty, at least) by the time I started playing, so it was more or less a blind run through for me. Thank you for creating a new Postal fan. Can’t wait for Wednesday :D
At 5:40-ish, you mention the secret path behind the fire. If you jump down on the other side of the staircase where there's no fire, you access the same tunnel. Just more in tact.
About confession errand, you could've used spreed run strat, but it needs precision, map and game knowledge. When you've dealt with bystanders outside you can boost grenades with your kick and if you know where's the confessional relatively to your location you can skip most of the enemies inside the church. But you did it the proper way.
For the rest of the days it will be very convenient for you to get the machete, you can use it as a Boomerang, it kills quickly, it is extremely effective and you can kill many masses in many seconds by spamming the click with the machete in your hand. If I remember correctly you can find one on Wednesday in the room of the guy from 'Pipes 4 Sale' (Area of the Postal Dude's house), if you use the hammer it will be much easier for you to pick it up but you will have to leave the place quickly after killing him because Police officers from the house next door will come, and quite possibly random passersby. PS: I love your video series, it reminds me a lot of Civvie 11's 'Pro Postal' series, but better edited and it's a pretty solid guide for this difficulty. Congratulations on your work!
Your video on postal 1 was about how Postal Dude saw everyone as insane lunatics who were a blight on the world. Do you think this is how he saw the world?
Wednesday! I'd love to see this series go all the way to paradise lost tbh, very nice, and great editing. BTW you're able to get the machete on Wednesday, under the bridge in the forest, when getting the Christmas tree! Good luck
i saw this video in the sidebar while looking for videos and it was very entertaining and well edited, liked and subbed and will continue watching the series :D
Oh, i forgot about this till you mentioned the hell hounds, they *can* be distracted by dog biscuits, they won't become friendly (unless by chance the game glitches and turns one of them friendly).
Once the Apocalypse starts, feeding them won't immediately turn them friendly, but once you go through a level transition up to three of them will have followed you and will be friendly.
Great video. I probably won't ever try Ludicrous difficulty (in fact, I think I'm going to go back to the previous version since they nerfed some of my favorite weapons). FYI, you can cheese the first two enemies at the top of the stairs in the burning library by jumping from the top step onto the railing and walking toward the atrium area. This avoids activating their AI, so you can kill them while they stand around like mannequins. You can also cheese the confession mission by running up the side of the hill directly across from the outside supply cache and firing two unguided rockets at the second tier of the church wall, between the last two buttresses (aim close to the right side of the section). The splash damage goes straight through the wall (as usual) and kills the priest, completing the objective. Then you only need to fight the enemies that spawn outside.
There is actually a nice church skip. You need to shoot some rockets at the specified angle right from the container area to kill the priest inside the confessional resulting in the custscene play, then you can easly get back trough the shipping containers to end the day (speedrun strat)
For Wednesday, get the Scythe (or whatever its spelled) on your way to piss on Dad's grave (assuming you're doing it first by going through the Sewer Complex behind Dude's home), its the best weapon for thos challenge, you can hold Left Click and let it go as soon as enemies pop out of corners/ run inside a room so timing your hitd like with machete is not a problem + you get some crazy range whilst using it which means you don't have to stand right next to someone for the swing to be effective and it can also kill multiple enemies in a single swing. AND its unblockable (even by the SWAT and Military) Tl;dr : Scythe is the best melee (and arguably weapon) for this difficulty.

Ah yes my favorite Sun Tzu quote,
"WE AINT GOT NO BUDGET FOR PIGEON MISSIONS! THE FUCK ARE YOU KIDDIN ME?"
im much more of an "ALL BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP MY ARSECAWK" kinda guy
I feel like the best thing to do before the Pigeon Mission is watching some Mike Tyson Mysteries best of Pigeon then start the cut scene
Well that does sound like the Sun Tzu we all know and love

Works surprisingly well in Skyrim too lmao

The editing is go great man, love this video series. This difficulty makes you really realize the care RWS took when doing the level design of the map
Very nice editing and super entertaining content, keep up the good job!
I'm not sure which is more impressive; beating tuesday on ludicrous, or your impeccable editing.
"Preemptively unzip your plants and begin peeing upwards"
Pacify zombie dogs by giving them dog treat

Just completed postal recently, and im impressed on how you managed to beat tuesday on the hardest difficulty, can't wait for Wednesday!
2:32 ah yes, my favourite activities of the day Tuesday
Nice touch at the very end; this is easily the most POSTAL way to tribute the guy.
I love game challenge run videos, so seeing some for Postal 2 is great. Not to mention your excellent editing.
The editing on this video is crazy!! Such high quality, fantastic job
i love how in ludicrous difficulty, everyone is trying to kill you but they still call you the killer

Literally just finished the monday vid thanks to the algorithm. Good content, have a sub.
Could you fucking imagine if they forced you to pistol start each day?

I'm so glas you decided to upload past Monday. As someone who has never played Postal before - this is extremely entertaining
Love how in this difficulty setting everyone's going postal expect for you
