LOL kids and their toys! Please don't take offense to this but you reminded me of my dad on the cub he was 6ft 4in and weighed 275 he looked like a grizzly on that cub kinda brought a tear to my eye! Please next time put a dark brown coat on when your on the cub I probably will cry. Thank you for the unexpected memories!
@FarmallFanatic The main thing is as long as you feel better health is very important and without good health a person is in trouble! Like I said I meant no offense to you at all it just reminded me of watching and learning from my dad. He's been gone for 9 years now and I really miss him I lost not only my dad but my best friend we did so much together! When I saw those side shots of you on the cub it just brought so many memories back thanks again unknowingly to you!
Hey Gino, I may have already made a comment but at 77 I do forget “stuff”. I’m a Cub Fanatic with way too many Cubs (that’s actually possible!) and it’s good to see them used on Utube. Thank you. I’ll attempt to not post a BFO, too many viewers do! Have a Merry Christmas. 6 out.
@@FarmallFanatic I have at least 12 (? Lost count). I’m attempting to buy another tonight. Mostly honest folks, not all however. Several sight unseen purchases. Burned badly last spring on a 140 that was actually a Super A with a 140 nose, and stuck as well. Full of water. Ugh.

Not bad really. Like you said would make a better job if the ground conditions were drier. And a little extra weight on it. Thanks for the video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Hi again; I agree it did fine. Your also correct too, that the cub and the attachments were not meant to do ten acres a day. It is fun and if needed it will do the job. Have a good holiday. Greg
Being wet definitely didn't help. It still looks like a fairly good job. Looked like fun to me 😂. Take care and stay safe. See you soon in the next one.
It seemed to do pretty decent even with your mud wheel lol . I like the way my tiller looks after one pass vs a disc but i'm planting a garden not a field . You need to let me send you enough seed to plant a few acres of my corn seed . You got cultivators for weeding it . Thanks for sharing and have a great evening !
Excellent video Gino :) also Cub + hual that disk did super job and to bad ground bit drier to for first try out amazing me to ! I say if get Harlws pull with on back disk this one should help out I know my dad did years ago help and made difference in crops too more yeild !
The Cub did a good job. Chains do help on a disc. We have clay soil and if you don't have cleaners or chains, the dirt will pack solid in between the blades.
I only disced with a cat 0 on a sears suburban, but added a couple bales of straw on top. Made a huge difference. Maybe I'll get a set for my cub one day.
I had a cub fast hitch disks ready to buy at a local tractor dealer ,they had set over in a corner of the yard for years and had weeds growing up around it. I asked the older gentleman owner if they were for sale and he said yes and I asked how much. I said I would be back in about an hour with a trailer to buy them. The man said his son who worked for the dealership had never had any interest in the disks, and that he had urged him to take then for his own CUB. I returned within an hour only to find that the disks were now gone and the older man was no where to be found. I asked everyone there, what happened to the disks and no one had a clue. I know exactly what happened, the old man called his son and said you better come and get that set of disks because there's a boy coming to get them in about an hour. And he got his butt into gear and snatched them leaving only the weeds. Never been back there. I did however find one of those nice push plows you have. It's nice.
It worked pretty good. Like you, I wouldn't want to do a big peace of land with it unless it's all I had. lol Every since they took over the adds on videos, views have dropped a lot. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and your family F.F!!! See ya!
Absolutely. Just some fun. Definitely a garden set up. 560? Can you say OVERKILL? You are a little too wet. It looks like it does just what it was designed to do. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Yes would work better if drier for you just seemed to have one set of disks plugging up I have used a piece of chain looped just below as I type this you mentioned using chain also so much for my bright idea 🙂
So first off I want to say I really enjoy your videos, I always look forward to them. But per your comment of the videos being stiff. I'm going to give you what I feel is a little constructive criticism. Maybe you should leave your comfort zone and do some different things on the farm. Maby fatten out a couple of hogs or raise some steers. You do a wonderful job with chickens, I'm sure you will do great with other things as well. Maby if people see something different they will tell their friends. Again not attacking you just don't want to see your channel go away or struggle.
I thought about it... But then how do I go out on the road to all these auctions when animals need cared for back here... Chickens, you just fill their water fill their feeder and they are good for 3 days... I add animals n this channel blows up for sure

Nice video. I was wondering how it would do. I noticed the cleaners right away. U have things under control. Thanks for ur videos.
If my disc packs up like that it won’t plow as deep. I keep an old large screwdriver to clear them. I have the tandem drag type for mine. Good video.
Your setup is doing a nice job, just need the right conditions.
Put you a couple of heavy cinder blocks in the weight boxes, let it dry and it with cut to the axles.

Time to get a metal fence post to clean that mud clog. I think it looked pretty good. Maybe hook up a metal bad spring on the back.
Yeah there's options for sure
I think you need some scrapers to keep the disk blades from packing up
I could hang chains and get the same effect

Mississippi mud pie
Wonder how available Cubs are in South America where I plan to settle as cruising winds down.Uraguay anyone?
