Oh dude i remember that one! The story where weegee's eyez were glowing and the doll he bought on ebay killed him and he cut his face up. Thwn everything was all like BBBBLLLLLLLAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH red and blood this and blood that! So spooks i cried.
Wasn't there a little girl in one of the games that got kidnapped and taken into the woods where you find her and have to fight the "special" hypno? I remember catching him in one of the games and being really weirded out by the whole thing...
I just finish the video, and I still like Hypno. I don't know why, but I've always liked him as a Pokemon. Also before you say it, I wouldn't like to go with a Hypno to his cave, I would still run from one if I saw it in real life.
I know this video is old as fuck.... But think about how this might coincide with Abra's Pokedex entry that states all Abra's are basically deformed or "evolved" children. The thought of Hypno abducting children and then somehow deforming them into an Abra is pretty fucking creepy. That would've made for a better, more conclusive story. But hey, I'm just a creepy pasta author like the rest of these guys, mine just isn't game related.
Where does it ever say that? Every pokedex entry on Bulbapedia mentions how it sleeps for 18 hours a day (which suggests a cat more than anything else) and that it teleports away. There's nothing that says anything about Abra being a child.
+Loki Belial The entry in Emerald states that the boy that turned into a Kadabra was involved in research in psychic powers. I doubt Hypno abducts children to use them as lab rats in science experiments.
+tralt135 First off, it was a very simple thought/ theory that you are trying too hard to crush. Second, there's more than one entry. Third, I never did, nor do I plan on starting to give a single shit about any of this.
+tralt135 why are you trying to discredit other people's theories about a video game? I mean, it may seem to you unrealistic but surely not enough to get you all sweaty and desperate to show how much your intelligence, comma, expands beyond our human comprehension.
yea, that is true.... Seriously. the story line is: 1: Person is bored, got a system and wants a game, or old game is broken and wants to get a new one 2: person goes searching for a game 3: Person finds a garage sale or a creepy old shop 4: person running the garage sale is a creepy old guy or mysterious old man (Cause old men are SOOO creepy and sketchy and untrustable ) 5: Person finds game they want but the cartage or disc looks weird and it's a bootleg. 6: Person buys game and the old man seems hesitant or happy to see it go, or old man gives it to him for free with a warning 7: Person plays game 8: creepy stuff happens 9: person realizes and tries to return it but the shop is gone, the man moved, or the person is an idiot and keeps playing 10: Person concludes story with the character that was the creepypasta thanking them for "Helping" or something, or person ends with: "I have never played the game since and sold all my merch from the game" and crap like that, though, I don't mean to be one of those stupid critics and rude bitches that I see in the comments section alot and that I hate so much..... its just an honest statement. PLEASE DONT HURT ME!!!
yea..... But i said please dont hurt me cause i sounded like one of those annoying critics anyway i dont read creepypasta anymore cause i cried my eyes off after reading the hetalia creepypasta...... (WHY ITALY!!! D: )
No, but we can confirm that Drowzee (as well as Munna and Musharna) is based on baku (both the 'tapir' and 'trunked dream-eater monster' meanings). Hypno's beakish nose and mythology of kidnapping people remind me more of tengu than baku, but he still retains all the predatory dream-eating from Drowzee, and doesn't really have any tengu powers.
I believe Hypno is Based off of a famous story called the Pied Piper its one of those story's you hear as a kid to teach you lessons and in the story this man the pied piper uses his mystical pipe to force a bunch a rats that have been terrorizing this town and leads them into a river but the mayor does not pay him for his deed. So the pied piper controls all the children in town leading them into a cave where he blocks the door way to teach the parents a lesson.
9:51 It was shown off in the episode where Ash's pokemon and Team Rocket's pokemon talk all episode because they were away from their trainers. They specifically state they are not bad/evil. Don't know why I remember this since I haven't watched pokemon since first season. (after looking it up) S1E17 The Island of Giant Pokemon! (and after rewatching it for nostalgia reasons one could argue meowth was still evil but fuckit i already commited this much time so i'm still posting.)
... Then the old man comes out of the screen and yells, "GIVE ME BACK MY GAME!" then they have a pizza party to celebrate the fact that it was all a dream.
there is other people you could get a creepy feel for if you've listened to Yuri for a while you'll know he's like this and most of us like him this way
The poem would be great if it was inserted into one of the pokemon games. Just think about it. Your playing your firered or leafgreen game and going to Viridian City to find that there is a cave over in a closed area. As the crime of breaking and entering only implies to Team Rocket for some what ever reason, you walk into one of the houses to see no one is home, but there is a book on the table. When you read the book, titled Hypno's Lullaby, you get a textbox that reads, "I hear it. It sings to me in my sleep. I feel soothed by the melody." The textbox continues with the book quotes the Lullaby. After the end of the poem the book will read, "Is this what my brother was telling me about; the Lullaby of Hypno." The textbox closes and you leave the house you can see a hypno standing infront of the closed off cave at night with the music of the city changed to the melody that was to accompany the poem. As you continue through the city the old man that teaches you to catch pokemon is actually crying over the lose of his granddaughter who had disappeared in the middle of the previous night.
In Pokemon FireRed, there's a small quest after the actual game on three islands called Island 1, 2 and 3. You are supposed to find a girl, who's disappeared from her home. Now, you end up in a forest, and there she is, the girl, lying in front of a Hypno you have to battle, before you can "free" the girl. Thats just even more creppy.
I literally just found this...I forgot it was in fire red...after you beat Blane you can go to the three islands, in the game house on island two a guy asks you to find a kid who is lost on island three in the berry forest, one you get to the end she talks about a scary pokemon who won't leave her alone, then she says its coming and a wild hypno level 30 appears...when I saw it, it reminded me of this video...how creepy :/
There is a small watch-type battery in modern game carts that backs up the saves files in the game. The practice was introduced with The original Legend Of Zelda cart for the NES, If you try to play a cartridge type game one day and all of a sudden your game saves are gone, the battery is probably dead.
on the whole pokemon Good or evil thing THEY can do what they feel just like animals they dont have the Full range of emotions but they do posses at least a bit of understanding about saddness and other emotions so yeah they could be either and there is a LOT of other pokemon that have VERY messed up pokedex entries that are WAY WORSE and have even noted certain pokemon as killers
In part of Pokemon Fire Red, it actually covers the Pokedex entry in the Sevii Islands when a little girl strays into the woods and is captured by Hypno.
he can replace the battery, but unless he can back up the data onto his computer or something, there's no way to keep the data from being erased when he changes out the new battery.
I LOVE that turtle pie picture of yours CX. WHERE DID YOU GET IT I MUST HAVE ONE BY THE SAME ARTIST!!!*gasp* what a mouthful... but still...yeah, so er....TELL ME.
In fire red and leaf green when you go to island 3 you meet a woman who tells you her fairer has gotten lost in the woods, once you get to the middle of the Forrest a girl thanks you for saving her and you are attacked by a level 30 hypno...
I found a different version that's pretty much the same, but it has lines like: "Do not wail and do not weep For you your families will grieve" "Look to me the pendent calls back and forth your eyelids fall" I actually think that is a bit scarier
As for the hypno pokedex entry, it seems like it was referencing the mission that you could do, as that same child from the entry can be rescued. On the topic of evil Pokemon, I believe that doesn't truly exist. Most Pokemon, no matter the intelligence, mostly go by nature; even the hypno can be justified, as it could've been simply using that child for her dreams to feed on. Its even stated in most cannon that Pokemon are not evil, some of the trainers that command them are.
i'm pretty sure in fire red/ leaf green theres actually a part of the game where a young girl is in a forest as your looking for her and when you talk to her you get drawn into a battle with a hypno
IIRC, slowpoke have the ability to regrow their tails like a lizard. So while its still pretty effed up that people are cutting their tails off for food, it's not as bad as if they were permanently mutilating them.
I know this is old but in a few other Pokémon games it says that it eats nightmares and good dreams makes its stomch hurt most likely y he wants the families to mourn the missing kids since he gets power and feeds on nightmare
I just almost shat myself I got to the bit where he said "He booted the game it ran beautifully unti-" Then I got a message "An error has occurred. Please try again later."
Or by natural instinct. See, Hypno and Drowsee both can 'feed' on certain emotions and dreams, mostly fears and nightmares. Children are referenced in their Pokedex entries as being their "favorites to feast off of".
If you can remember in fire red and leaf green on the seri islands I believe they are called that girl in the forest was brought there by hypno and she clearly states that she heard a strange song
That sounds sooo true, but you forgot a few parts of the story. After the players bleed, they start dancing the death dance. Then hypno turns to the screen and says the sacred ritual: boogey oogy oogy bogus babble babble bon bon bear bear dooga dooga cha cha. Then he flies to the sun and pikachus face appeares all bloody. He starts singing jingle bells.
Actually, in another episode of the anime, where Ash's Pokémon and Team Rocket's Pokémon get lost in an Island full of Giant Pokémon after the S.S. Anne was wrecked (it was an amusement them park at the end). Pikachu confronts Ekans and Koffing for being evil, and they reply that Pokémon are not evil nor good, just the trainers that catch them. The only "evil" Pokémon I can remember in the whole series is Mewtwo, the other Pokémon causing havoc by themselves were acting on instinct.
To be honest, there are a few Pokemons out there whose description sound friggin evil. Those who are said to hypnotize and spirit people away, not to name them all (I'd be here all day). They are supposed to be monsters, after all. It's not surprising that a bunch of them would, in canon, be attached to folklore in the game, creepy bedstories and whatnot.
remember in some of the games, Team Rocket was cutting off the tails of slowpoke and selling them? now there's another example of evil and just fucked upness in pokemon. cool videos btw!
there is another thing thing in pokemon fire red that supports hypno taking kids. After you beat the 7th gym leader you go to the 3 islands and on one of them you have to find a little girl who is in a forest getting berries and when you find and talk sho says a monster attacked her and then she says its back and the monster was a hypno which really supports the theory.
It's like in Fire Red and Leaf Green when you go to the Sevii Islands and the third island in Berry Forest when you have to save that girl from the Hypno.
Another way to tell if the story was complete bullshit: Fog wasn't a texture yet. Only the dark, such as that of which is encountered in Rock Tunnel is allowed. And on that note, I would like to say, Yuriofwind, that I really enjoy your witty comments during the story; moreover, I'd like to ask if there are any non-horror games where something creepy or out of place happened.
Cacturne: Creepiest pokemon for every person traveling through a desert. Kadabra: Used to be a child? Phantump: Children that died in the forest? Banette: Searches for the children that abandoned them as a doll to do what exactly?
Yuri, yer making me wanna sit down with a pipe and bathrobe and start a new youtube series called, "Creepypasta: 21st Century Canon." After reading the entire pasta, I'd then praise the story on it's depth and repetitive use of "suddenly".
"hypno wouldnt hurt a fly" psychic being not effective against bug type

The only thing psychic doesn't effect is dark. 😂

And on that note, I would like to say, Yuriofwind, that I really enjoy your witty comments during the story; moreover, I'd like to ask if there are any non-horror games where something creepy or out of place happened.
Another way to tell if the story was complete bullshit: Its a fucking video game... None of this is fucking real...
I realize it's only a video game. But textures are textures.
you make it easier to know creepy pastas with your voice, all your funny comments right when i wonder if its good or not and i was
Your voice sounds like silver the hedgehog, and I love it!

Cacturne: Creepiest pokemon for every person traveling through a desert.
Kadabra: Used to be a child?
Phantump: Children that died in the forest?
Banette: Searches for the children that abandoned them as a doll to do what exactly?
Adult stuff kid......
thats right, but in that second whend you remove the old battery, your data is gone forever.
There's a rom hack of this available online. (Maybe wasn't around when you uploaded this)
Well the "dark" type Pokemon are called "evil" type in Japan anyway. Can't be too surprised lol.
Yuri, yer making me wanna sit down with a pipe and bathrobe and start a new youtube series called, "Creepypasta: 21st Century Canon." After reading the entire pasta, I'd then praise the story on it's depth and repetitive use of "suddenly".
I just noticed, this guy thought it was hacked. NOT GLITCHING. He just immediately knew it was hacked. This player is a GENIUS.
