Extremely smart move by Skoda to give a high performance car high ground clearance. This has put me in total confusion . I secretly wish for a sedan but prefer SUV only due to high ground clearance. I will test drive Slavia soon. Great job ,Skoda!

Can you please tell which would be better for me 1.0 or 1.5 I can stretch my budget for 1.5 and my driving is in city mostly and rarely I drive on highways only on weekends and I don't have a problem with fuel economy. I just need the car to perform perfectly whenever i take it out on highways It should be quick and I am upgrading from scorpio 2.2 140 and endeavour 2.5 2011.

If you have a budget then absolutely go for 1.5
Slavia 1 litre will be around 20-25% quicker than Scopio 2.2 140bhp. Computed this by comparing power to weight ratio of these cars and assuming Slavia is more aerodynamic that scorpio. You should take a test drive and decide.
Is 1.0 litre engine is capable or not on hilly roads?

I own a one litre manual variant. It is very capable for all type of practical use case. 1.5 litre engine also gives the same mileage but has dry clutch in manual variants which can be a bad thing in bumper to bumper traffic.

You should take a test drive. In my opinion power is more than sufficient in 1 litre variant. If price difference is not an issue then you should go for 1.5 litre. Both has same mileage and no dry clutch in automatic transmission.

1.5 is not much powerful than this. Just a small difference.
Can i know fluid tank capacity of skoda slavia which is not mentioned in the dimensions of the description of
45 ltrs if you are talking about Fuel Capacity
Sir how's the performance with 5 On board with luggage bags (1.0 Automatic) currently I have ameo 1.5 diesel dsg....
I compared the power to weight ratio of these two cars. Ameo 1.5 diesel will be 1% more quicker than slavia 1 litre.
