They are trying to put the new format, and it is kinda new for shounen series. If you are not able to understand the value of modernization, technological advancement and artificial creature, it is likely hard to understand the main arc(manga) which Covers all of them, for example the existance of Kashin Koji (clone of jiraiya) , many people dont understand why he is necessary to be cloned. I think it’s cos he feels so lonely, his whole clan killed by his own brother who he loved, he doesn’t think anyone could understand it, kakashi killed his friend and obito dies in front of him but I still think Sasuke’s story is a little bit more tragic, his whole clan was obliterated because they were oppressed and wanted change, when they didn’t get it they were decimated. Sasuke then goes on a path of revenge for his brother and even though he’s pretty op everyone treats him like a child and hate him because he’s an Uchiha, the clan that wanted to be a real part of the village
Having the person you love and look up to the most in the world kill everybody you know and put you in a “spell” that shows with detail how they were all killed, well let’s just say that it’s going to make you feel alone.

I don't watch naruto, I've prob only made it to ep 50 and then saw some of the close to the end shippuden episodes due to my sisters watching the series. But I love watching these. Idk why but the edits are always so good and these people know how to choose the scenes that even I can understand the emotional weight of and the music selection is perfect. Just so amazing.

Strength doesn't equate to good characters. The best character in the series could be Iruka, even though he's weak, well written characters should be the priority. If Kakashi had Madara level strength, it wouldn't make any sense, it would probably just cheapen Kakashi's character.
Literally, most of Kakashi's problems can be traced to Madara Uchiha. Rins death caused by him manipulating mist, manipulating Obito, Obito killing Minato through Nine Tails due to Madaras manipulation.
darkness, sadness, epicness on naruto is just what made it what it is today and we just feel that there is no stakes in boruto, means it is boring to see boruto (should i say boringto ?) beeing a common asshole teen. Naruto at the same age was fighting vs zabuza/orochimaru twice/gaara/neji/kabuto and battles were involving the greatest person of the show. Boruto is epicless (i mean the anime not the scans)

I don't watch naruto, I've prob only made it to ep 50 and then saw some of the close to the end shippuden episodes due to my sisters watching the series. But I love watching these. Idk why but the edits are always so good and these people know how to choose the scenes that even I can understand the emotional weight of and the music selection is perfect.

Strength doesn't equate to good characters. The best character in the series could be Iruka, even though he's weak, well written characters should be the priority. If Kakashi had Madara level strength, it wouldn't make any sense, it would probably just cheapen Kakashi's character.

Literally all of Kakashi's problems can be traced back to Kaguya

darkness, sadness, epicness on naruto is just what made it what it is today and we just feel that there is no stakes in boruto, means it is boring to see boruto (should i say boringto ?) beeing a common asshole teen. Naruto at the same age was fighting vs zabuza/orochimaru twice/gaara/neji/kabuto and battles were involving the greatest person of the show. Boruto is epicless (i mean the anime not the scans)
