Hint for the "A Complete Circuit" Archievment: North=Static Shock, East=Diffusion Chain, South=Overcharge, West= Bouncing Bolt. Perhaps this helps someone ;D
On Ji'kun you can use Flexweave Underlay from engineering BEFORE grabbing the egg, that leaves you with slow fall. If you're a hunter, you can use rylak pet to slow fall you. Also, you don't need to click the egg, just fly through it.
Great job on soloing the achievement on Ji-Kun! I had to 2 man it with my friend who soloed him and I grabbed the egg on my DH. DH Glide works and will not drop the egg when you pick it up. It helps a lot for those who aren't able to kill Ji-Kun while holding the egg mid air.
Just did Soft Hands with a couple guildies, 1 priest and another hunter. I didn't even wanna try soloing it, I think I'd kill it too fast even with your strategy. caught the egg, he pulled me up and they smashed the boss (probably could have done it with just the priest). Thanks a bunch for your help with everything else, couple weeks I'll have the mount. It only took running the whole raid a couple times on like 3-4 different alts to get them all done. (grinding for son of animus anyway) Thanks again!
I have been working on this for a while. Crossing the streams was bugged for a while and is fixed now, but your idea about the reset on dark animus is a really good one, i would not have thought of that, i have been going in and fighting them every week, hoping for the best. thanks, that will let me finish it this week.
To everyone having problems with ritualists not spawning after heroic reset, you need to use the premade group finder to create a raid group before you reset otherwise they won't respawn
doesnt work, every time i go out, reset and go in it just puts me back into the heroic one and saying "you will be locked to this instance in 60 seconds!"

I just completed it as a rogue. I do want to add that I have the Will of Valeera legendary pants which adds a 20% heal to my feint, along with Crimson Vial every 30 seconds.
Soft Hands is a lot easier solo if you have a warlock (you can use your demonic circle to return to platform) and Crossing the Streams is easier if you have a monk (WW or BM - they both have Ox Statue who can taunt the boss and getting the healing debuff)
It might be worth mentioning the head case achievement requires 3 separate visits on one toon to get each of the head types so this will take weeks to finish.
Oh btw if you don't have a pet class but you have a monk, you can go Brewmaster for the Durumu cheevo and put your ox statue out and don't touch the boss and it'll soak the bosses healing debuff the whole time, solo'd it back in 6.2 with that.
For the first achieve, lighting overload, I had both orbs collide, verified by the larger stacked lightning patch on the ground, then I killed the boss and got no achievement? Did I miss something?
I think Durumu is bugged again, like I'm exactly right on top of the white light where it spawned and it doesn't reveal the fog beasts, the first one round it appears but the 2nd and 3rd it never does, also I'll just randomly die with 90-100% health and yes I kill all the fog beasts everytime.

it would be very helpful if someone would post the coordinates of the drop path of the egg (it is a vertical line). Then it would be so easy to just dot the boss and position yourself at X,Y and wait for the egg to fall on you
Holy shit, I finally got the Durumu achievement, this is why I love Asmon. I didn't think I could do it on my main, a Fury Warrior, so I'd have to wait until I maxed my Druid. But Seeing Asmon use a Prot Warrior I just switched over and barely did it on my 3rd try.
Trying to do Durumu on my Ven DH, but the healing debuff stacks aren't dropping off after Disintegration Beam. It has about 1-2 seconds remaining, and then reapplies the stacks. Not sure if I'm doing it wrong, or the footage is old, but this one doesn't seem possible at the moment, because you literally can't heal yourself after a while.
Might not apply but doing this as a class with a pet helps a lot, and using prydaz is another option too as it makes you basically invulnerable during the fight
First one might be done more easy, position the boss, so he casts orb inside concrete structure (boss casts orb infront of himself), orb will get stuck there and will not follow you, then just stand there, while he casts second orb. Just did it with my observations after failed Asmogolds tactic. Paladin no jumps :(
Have only needed crossing the streams for about half a year give or take. And the last of the ritualists. So happy I didn't have to solo Soft Hands. Ah. Thank you a ton for the guide! Always help when I can't quite understand a more complicated chieve.
Me and my friend went in here to try and do the soft hands achev and I am holding the egg with the boss dead behind us and we did not get the achev. We made a ticket and blizz said "We cannot confirm if the criteria was met." Even though we submitted a screen shot of me holding the egg and the boss dead behind us.
have seen lightning overload done where you stand in the corner (where you at, at 0:40) and just keep jumping like you are trying to get up on the ledge, this stops the ball from getting closer to you. But be warned, I have seen it glitch a few times, resetting the boss and he never respawns, and since it wasnt a kill, the door does not open...till the next day. But boss is not there and no credit for killing it.
Tried this tonight on my Prot Warrior, as I'm only missing 4 cheevs. I got Overload and One Up pretty easily from following this. Soft Hands as a warrior was impossible... but Durumu? I find it hard to tell the difference between the pools for the fogs because Azure fog pools look incredibly similar to the White pools :/
On Ji-Kun, it helps if you have a Rylak pet that will give you slowfall for 30 seconds. You can put up Murder of Crows at a relatively high boss HP % and slowly fall down as the boss dies. Makes it less risky than the short time window this method requires. :D
Last boss is soloable by a druid. Pull the boss at max range, Talent Wild Charge and feral affinity. Pull the boss without using a DOT, immediately go cat form, and sprint away. Kite the boss along the ramp in the room. When you reach 3 or 4 stacks, pop a lightfoot potion and continue to kite in cat form, using wild charge to disengage away on CD. Right around the time your 2nd Dash comes up, she should go into the 2nd phase where you can AOE down the Reavers.

The ritualist who, worked for me this way, started normal 25 man from begining, when i reached animus, i killed the ritualists, then i changed to heroic 25, clicked leave instance, then after a few failed attempts to enter the raid, after changing back and forth a few times from heroic 25 to normal 25, i realized it wont work. Then i changed to normal 10 man, and i saw them spawned back. After killing them, i change to 10 man heroic, clicked leave instance, when i was out, i changed back to normal 10 man and entered, and it worked, i could kill them again. Did this a few times until it said i entered to many instances recently, then i took a break.
I had a side theory (which I haven't had the time to test yet) Could a hunter theoretically catch the egg, slowfall with a kit and then disengage to propel themselves back to the platform? Like I said I haven't tested the distances, but I thought it was a worthwhile idea for those of us who can't blitz QUITE that fast
I understand if you take damage you drop it, hence I listed slowfalling so that the trip back to the platform wouldn't hurt, point is it might buy a few more seconds at least before Ji does another aoe and DOES damage you. If you can't use abilities tho that changes it. As I said tho, just spitballin'
Soloing Jin’rok with boomy is a pain, the static burst constantly dazes just before he cast lightning... I get dismounted with first hit. Switched to feral with sephuz’s secret ring and it gives me 157% speed. When second ball is cast, I hit dash and he soon picks you up. Done first time...
@Asmongold The trick for "Ritualist Who" doesn't work. I went in to ToT killed all the Ritualists on 10 man normal, converted to Heroic, let it boot me back to the entrance, converted it back to normal and reset the instance. But when I zoned back in all the Ritualists were still dead.
I am sure a lot of people would be happy to see a guide on the Glory of the Pandaria Raider even if some of the achivements are not soloable since there is no good guide on the whole meta achivement.
So thunder throw does not collide both at the same time. I have had both orbs out and he does thunder throw and after the move is complete it shows both orbs exploded but no achievement. I have done this twice and still nothing... gunna have to ask a guild mate. I made sure I was on heroic mode and I used the same skyskip potion.
Dont know why everytime I approach to the boss in the lightning overload. It also hits me and slowing me down which dismount me. I thus could not run in mount and couldn't complete the achievement. I am a current Lv110 shadow priest and wonder if other gets the same problem with me

First try on Ji-Kun I failed. Knew straight away I didn't want to waste weeks trying this. So logged onto an alt. Spammed trade LFM to do [Soft Hands]. Got 1 guy to help me within 2 minutes. Got to Ji-Kun. My mate did the DPS and I tried to catch the egg. Failed 1st attempt to catch the egg. Planned for failure so didn't kill the boss. Hearthed out and went back. Did it on the second try. Saved weeks of frustration.
Asmon i was soloing the Achievment today and i tried that setting to heroic then leave instance then set to normal and reset, and it was not working, everytime i got back in it set me back to heroic even if i was on normal
If anyone is having trouble with the first achieve Lightning Overload on heroic, try it on normal the orbs go a bit slower. Got it my first try on normal after failing multiple times on heroic. Maybe im just a sperg that finally did it correctly but it might help.
Hey dude, for durumu achi. The first time he casts it, i get the fog beast, but then he starts casting the waals, usually just before casting the fogs beasts. it becomes impossible to see where the next white halo is because there was huge walls everywhere. any help?

U can open a premade group (alone) and then u have marks, whenever u can see the white plop but cannot imagine where it was, u just can mark it with a skull or something. :) (in You said crossing the streams was bad)
Still getting randomly one-shotted despite being 930 prot warrior, on 10 man normal. Even though I'm not standing in his eye bye and standing on the "squigglies" as you say. I'm assuming this is a bug but it's basically not doable at this time.
After numerous tries at some of these, I threw my hands in the air and thought, "F'k it, I'm just gonna go through and get all my heroic kills." Am on the final boss and no matter what I do, he goes to the center of the platform and does what looks like a Shaman's lightning lasso on me, which then slowly pushes me over the edge where i fall and die. I must be missing something obvious but, well, I'm missing it so... help?
After many tries, I flew up, missed the egg...went falling down - somehow the egg and I made contact...but when I spiralled up again, I still had it in my hands...my priest buddy leap of faith'd me...result!
does setting to heroic, leacing instance resetting then turning to normal not work anymore? i tried it but it keeps entering me back to the heroic mode
I found for Full Circuit if you just nuke lei shen on 2 pylons then suicide, come back in an do it on the other 2 pylons and kill him its done, he overcharges them if you just dps him onto his little terminal platform
I was having trouble too till i rewatched this and I got it on my first try. I didnt realize that the 2nd one would spawn faster when you stay in melee range for that shock smash attack. I also play a rogue so i was able to shadowstep to him to bring the balls together so i got it before the boss grabbed me
This strat barely works anymore and is too much hassle. theres a new work around, in that if you get him as humanly close to one of the rounded corners, stand in front of it, then when he does the lightning, it gets stuck in the wall, when the second one hits, it gets you the acheivement. can be finnicky but thats how I got it today.
can this be done between characters or only one? i cant tell the difference for the achievements that you can use multiple characters or need to complete with one toon.
Bringing leech gear helps on this oldraids things, the ammount of dmg we do on those places heals you so much isnt possible for you to die for lack of sustain.
Hey asmon, i just have a question about soft hand ability do you think demon hunters leap will work during the encounter?off course bring a buddy to burst the boss down when demon hunter got the egg and leap.

Did exactly as he said and the orbs didnt crash together when i was thrown and i didn't get the achievement also you can no longer reset the first boss fight as the doors close when the encounter starts
For the Soft Hands achievement if you don't have the patience to solo it or just dont have the class for it, get a priest to life grip you after you grab the egg, or any class with a slowfall abillity or slowfall potion can use it before grabbing the egg and have the other person hitting jikhun kill it in the fall time. You Said Crossing the Streams Was Bad also is easiest as Hpally or prot. Don't try to do it as a dps only class.
I cant get ritualist who? I did everything step by step but it wont spawn them I killed the ritualist set it to heroic zoned out reset and went back in on norm and they wont spawn? help
Lightning overload method described here doesn't work. You get dismounted as soon as the fight starts. RIP ps: Just run against one of the inner walls in the corner (the ones that have grass), and use the object between said wall and the corner, while you go from left to right (of that object) slightly. Eventually the 2 orbs will bug and spawn inside said wall. Achievement completed.

Demonhunters can glide while holding the egg. it made the achievement very doable with a dps to finish the boss and a dh to catch the egg.
Crossing streams is bugged. The fog beasts dont show up for me even though I 101% am standing at, or near that pulsing, small white light.

You shouldn't be standing in melee range after the maze thingy. If you do, he'll instantly refresh the debuff.

Why didn't Lei Shen use Helm of Command during your solo run? It's really annoying to deal with in solo/small groups.

When you have the egg and you get damage, you drop it. Also I think that you can't attack either. Just get a friend is my recommendation.

Seems to work only on 25 man mode in my experience
Are you going to do How to Solo Glory of the Orgrimmar Raider for all of the soloable achievments because I need ach from Thok

Trouble on Ritualist Who. I convert to HC, leave instance when prompted, change to normal, reset, go back in, but they do not respawn. Any tips?

I found an easier method for the orbs. You run around until both are even distance from you, then back up until they collide.

Asmon i was soloing the Achievment today and i tried that setting to heroic then leave instance then set to normal and reset, and it was not working, everytime i got back in it set me back to heroic even if i was on normal

If anyone is having trouble with the first achieve Lightning Overload on heroic, try it on normal the orbs go a bit slower. Got it my first try on normal after failing multiple times on heroic. Maybe im just a sperg that finally did it correctly but it might help.

Hey dude, for durumu achi. The first time he casts it, i get the fog beast, but then he starts casting the waals, usually just before casting the fogs beasts. it becomes impossible to see where the next white halo is because there was huge walls everywhere. any help?

In the Soft hands achievement you dont click the egg, you just stand on where it drops to catch it, confused me for a number of tries
U can open a premade group (alone) and then u have marks, whenever u can see the white plop but cannot imagine where it was, u just can mark it with a skull or something. :) (in You said crossing the streams was bad)
question can you do the jikun achiv if you do not currently own a hunter?
Still getting randomly one-shotted despite being 930 prot warrior, on 10 man normal. Even though I'm not standing in his eye bye and standing on the "squigglies" as you say. I'm assuming this is a bug but it's basically not doable at this time.
You can easily land on the platform for Ji'kun if u glide as a demon hunter. But you need a friend to kill the boss
After numerous tries at some of these, I threw my hands in the air and thought, "F'k it, I'm just gonna go through and get all my heroic kills." Am on the final boss and no matter what I do, he goes to the center of the platform and does what looks like a Shaman's lightning lasso on me, which then slowly pushes me over the edge where i fall and die. I must be missing something obvious but, well, I'm missing it so... help?
After many tries, I flew up, missed the egg...went falling down - somehow the egg and I made contact...but when I spiralled up again, I still had it in my hands...my priest buddy leap of faith'd me...result!
At durumu i just get life drain stunned and kicked off the field because of the eye and bad timing every single time.

I found for Full Circuit if you just nuke lei shen on 2 pylons then suicide, come back in an do it on the other 2 pylons and kill him its done, he overcharges them if you just dps him onto his little terminal platform
I really don't see how you can do the first one I've done this 25 time's keep getting dazed when mounted.
I was having trouble too till i rewatched this and I got it on my first try. I didnt realize that the 2nd one would spawn faster when you stay in melee range for that shock smash attack. I also play a rogue so i was able to shadowstep to him to bring the balls together so i got it before the boss grabbed me
the hunter speed buffs aren't fast I even used the same speed potion
tanks don't get dazed
This strat barely works anymore and is too much hassle. theres a new work around, in that if you get him as humanly close to one of the rounded corners, stand in front of it, then when he does the lightning, it gets stuck in the wall, when the second one hits, it gets you the acheivement. can be finnicky but thats how I got it today.

can this be done between characters or only one? i cant tell the difference for the achievements that you can use multiple characters or need to complete with one toon.
Bringing leech gear helps on this oldraids things, the ammount of dmg we do on those places heals you so much isnt possible for you to die for lack of sustain.

Did exactly as he said and the orbs didnt crash together when i was thrown and i didn't get the achievement also you can no longer reset the first boss fight as the doors close when the encounter starts
They must have nerfed them at 3:19 I tried to solo them as fury in 25 man heroic a month ago, I will go check if they messed with today.

For the Soft Hands achievement if you don't have the patience to solo it or just dont have the class for it, get a priest to life grip you after you grab the egg, or any class with a slowfall abillity or slowfall potion can use it before grabbing the egg and have the other person hitting jikhun kill it in the fall time. You Said Crossing the Streams Was Bad also is easiest as Hpally or prot. Don't try to do it as a dps only class.

I cant get ritualist who? I did everything step by step but it wont spawn them I killed the ritualist set it to heroic zoned out reset and went back in on norm and they wont spawn? help
Update I found a work around. invite someone to group zone out reset raid set group to raid group and just do that over and over.
For the first one, if you are a pally, just bubble hearth after he does the first aoe thunder phase and you'll get achieve
Ehm, how did you not get dismounted at the first boss? I'm tank spec and I just get snared off my mount after 3 seconds when I aggro him. lol
so the HEAD CASE you have to do on 3 seperate ID runs, cant do it in one run
Lightning overload method described here doesn't work. You get dismounted as soon as the fight starts. RIP ps: Just run against one of the inner walls in the corner (the ones that have grass), and use the object between said wall and the corner, while you go from left to right (of that object) slightly. Eventually the 2 orbs will bug and spawn inside said wall. Achievement completed.
