Can an insurance company drop your homeowners policy during an open claim?

I need a professional help. I don’t know what to do ,I’m living in Georgia, I filled a home insurance claim for my roof and ceiling and other damages from water, big hale and storm came through my house, my insurance adjuster came to look at it and they denied to pay for it. Adjuster said they won’t pay this time because it’s might be not from hale , but professional roofing company investigated said it’s from hale and storm. They fixed many houses roof near me. I’d like to hire a lawyer. Can you please recommend lawyer phone number in state of Ga? My ceiling is falling down and floors getting damaged. Thank you so much. How can I get help from you? I got to send you my email address? Please advise me.

Quick question: who incurs the cost of the lawyer fees etc. if the claim is denied and the insured chooses to hire an attorney to dispute the denial? How about if the carrier sends an engineer to inspect the property damage and the insured chooses to have their attorney and/or contractor present for the inspection? Can/should these expenses be charged to the carrier?

In Florida, statute 627.428 allows insureds to recover attorneys’ fees and costs from the carrier if the insured prevails (i.e., wins) in litigation.

@@LawyerBritt attorneys' fees kills one insurer after the other just like when parasites kill their hosts... attorneys are too much into the business of making money which make the home insurance companies in FL implode, one after the other
