So.. I watched all your Aliner videos.. and was eagerly awaiting the finished product.. but then you started your promaster project. Wondering if your aliner is still on hold.. and when you will start working on that again. Loved your aliner videos. Quite a project !!
I was cleaning snow off my Aliner yesterday and was wondering if you had resolved your hitch installation problem. Good to hear that Uhaul stood behind their work. I'm so ready to go camping but it will be a couple of months before snow melts out of the lowland campgrounds around here.
Had to get a tow vehicle for the Aliner, so the Aliner has been in a holding pattern for right now. Since the tow vehicle I got ended up being a Promaster, I'm gonna convert it to a camper also as well as use it as the tow vehicle for the Aliner. It all worked out in the end!!!
@@NicciOfArnold Just viewed your new video on your Promaster, and wondered about your Aliner plans, so I came back here and saw your comment about using the Promaster as the tow vehicle for your Aliner. Do you have a strategy for how you will use both on your camping trips? E.g. use Aliner for sleeping, Promaster for cargo or what? You are converting the Promaster into a camper in its own right, so I'm curious. I have contemplated an Aliner OR a Promaster, but not both simultaneously.
@@jimevans7696 Because of the series of events the way they happened, I have now given myself more options. I will use the Aliner for stays at campgrounds where planning and reservations will be required and will use the Promaster for shorter or less planned out adventuring 😁.
@@NicciOfArnold Wow that much huh? i thought promasters were front wheel drive and could not tow a lot - you can tow more than i can in my chevy pickup (4 cyl)!
@@ManWander Yes, the Promaster is front wheel drive, 6 cylinder. And the gas model 1500 and 2500 both have the same engine and both can tow 5,000 lbs 😁.
That is great, I'm so happy for you! And another project for videos. Doubly sweet! Happy camping
