That green V is one of my favorite cars on here, he’s been gone for a while glad to see him back breaking hearts, but that is a gorgeous GT500, with a lot of room to grow. Gotta love a 10 year old car with a manual and driver mod though.

That caddy is a boss, and if I'm not mistaken it seems a bit faster now! For it to pull on the GT 500 by that much is crazy!

Was a good race. The question people are not asking is HOW MUCH TQ the V makes. That is what is doing the heavy lifting. The V is making 700+ TQ. along with HP comparable, that is what is giving it the power to stretch out like it does. TQ wins races, HP keeps you out in front.

It is VERY even considering a new base model GT500 $75,000 not adding the current markup at the dealerships. A Gen 2 CTS V can be had for $20,000+ less

The secret is running a tune that'll blow the car up within 10k miles oh and also make sure you race cars with no upgrades or you don't have a chance 🤣
The secret is the set up/tune but most importantly the manual with driver mod. An auto caddy with these same mods probably wouldve lost or be even with the 500

I wouldn’t say heavily😂 maybe fbo ported blower and heads cam. They make like 900+whp. Thats heavily modded. That’d be a good race vs bolt ons e 500. This setup on a gen 2 v on Texas streets would get walked left and right 😂 so it isn’t really that crazy

V has done more since it’s previous races. Just got rid of my v not to long ago made more power than this one, now I have a gt500. 500 still a much better car just gotta stop with all these stock gt500s lol someone out needs to mod there car already, or I’ll have to make that drive 🙄

And yes these ctsvs have a curb weight of around 4200 lbs ( that's me throwing the ball park figure of what they weight ) and I looked them up again today and they range between 4200-4300 ish lbs.
