The line about High Evolutionary seems like the "key" to everything. "He just hated things the way they are". - It's the perfect antagonist for the most imperfect heroes to face in their big send-off film - Easily applies to Peter's whole deal with Gamora, having to except that she isn't what he wants her to be - It seems like Adam Warlock is starting out as some kind of muscle for High Evolutionary and with Adam's whole deal as a character in the comics, that could be applicable there too It's exactly the kind of thing I would expect from James Gunn and I'm absolutely loving what we're getting!
I'm excitd for Karen Gillan, Mantis, Rocket and Lylla. Pratt really soured this franchise to me 🙁 Watching this is weird because Ant-Man 3 literally switched from being a heist-comedy, to... well...Guardians of the Galaxy. Considering how the Ego and Goldpeople plots clashed in the second movie, I wonder if Rocket-Evolutionary and Gold Space Jesus will clash here
I love that the entire team got their blue comic book uniforms. Still not thrilled by the guy they cast to play Adam Warlock; I've been crushing on Adam for decades and I really wanted them to cast someone ridiculously handsome and muscular to play him, not the kid from Meet the Millers. But maybe he'll surprise me; we'll see.
I knew from the teaser that this movie is going to demand several packs of tissues because I’m very emotional and cry at the drop of a hat, and those flashes from Rocket’s past cuts me to the core. Gunn is usually good at balancing it though, so there will be joy AND heartbreak. I look forward to this, so much!

I don't mind not getting more information about the story, I'm going to see this film and I'd rather go in knowing as little as possible, if they put to much in the trailer I'm going to start piecing things together and I don't want that. This is the final installment in the story, I'm going to just stop watching it now.
I'm hoping for an interesting Star Lord arc, I don't think he'll replace Gamora with a new one. Legends of Tomorrow had a similar storyline and handled it good, so I have faith in this story
I liked this trailer, but I preferred the more atmospheric teaser we had before. Still, very excited, even if I'm not really sure where they're going with this. I agree this film should see Peter accept that Gamora is gone, and maybe build a different relationship (good friends, no romantic overtones) with new Gamora (Ga-more-a?). I do fear Gunn might not do that simply because it feels like killing Gamora & bringing in new Gamora was more of a decision by the writers of Infinity War & Endgame (or higher ups) than his. I'd been fairly sure Drax would die in this film up until this trailer, which seemed to lean into that expectation a little heavily - it could just be foreshadowing, but I am very used to Marvel trailers especially giving us red herrings and leaning into fan theories to do it. Final thoughts: Karen Gillan really is great and I want to see her in more things; yay Lylla; still unsure about Adam Warlock.
I don't know about Peter and Gamora. I'm a little torn. While I don't want to see that trope of them falling in love again easy peezy, I still think that even across the multiverse with lives shaped by different experiences, that at their core...all the different manifestations of a person across the multiverse have the same core or kernel of being. If that is the case, could they somehow move toward some sort of relationship that takes time to evolve? Maybe not in this movie, but in the future?
i can see the connection between the High Evolutionary and Adam Warlock.....the H.E. says his goal is to create the most perfect society/race....A.W. was made by the Sovereign (Gold people)....their societ was all about the perfect genes....could the Gold People have been created by The H.E.?
I am just spit balling but I do feel that Adam Warlock is gonna start out as an antagonist and then will switch sides and join the Guardians and help them with whatever they need help with. Like he will originally bee working for the High Evolutionary but then will switch sides and join the Guardians and help defeat HE
I'm torn between wanting to see this movie (it does look good) and for the MCU's habit of punishing me of getting attached to these characters and their dynamics. I liked the previous movies, I liked those versions of the characters. but between Infinity War, No Way Home, and Multiverse of Madness it's pretty clear that investing in them is a waste of time. Hope this movie changes my mind, I do trust this director
