      He was talking about the pitch, the original song uses a higher register, it’s constantly shifting to three or four different ones.
      So it’s hard to play that with a real piano, without making a sampling, which JVKE does in most of his live versions.
      So that was what he’s talking about. I’m not very knowledgeable about music. But if you search “why JVKE doesn’t play golden hour in live performances” the explanation why will give you the answer.

      And how little today's music can actually do this now. Try being in a bar amd playing, most never stop talking over it and never stop to enjoy regardless of the skills on stage. Might be because getting laud is why most people go to bars, but, today, music is talking background noise, unfortunately. It actually aggravates me how much music has been taken down in everyday life importance by this day and age, from where it was in the 90's and early 2000's.

      Hey! question for you! Have you ever accepted Jesus as your personal savior from your sins? Please let me explain real quick... We have all sinned. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
      Our sins have a penalty. That penalty is hell.
      Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death..." Because of our sin, when we die, hell is our eternal destiny. But here is the good news, the verse doesnt stop there. It continues "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 5:8 says "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
      We have all sinned and we deserve to go to hell, but God sent His son, Jesus, to die for our sins and pay the penalty we owe. Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ! God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to earth to die for our sins and pay the penalty for our sins! Jesus died for our sins, but He rose again from the dead and beat death! By accepting Jesus as your savior in faith, you can inherit eternal life in heaven! Repent of your sins and place your faith in Jesus Christ today! Place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! Call out to Jesus today and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and save your soul!
      Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

At 11 I started the piano. A year later my best friend (who didn't care about playing the piano and dropped it) started lessons. At 6 months, he could play 100 times better than I could. 50 years later, it doesn't get any better. • @AlphaHorst
      @AlphaHorst Год назад +256

      @LondonVon how a piano is tuned has shifted over the years. So there are a lot of older songs which were written using a specific characteristics of a piano which nolonger exists in the modern tuned piano. So some of Mozarts songs sound different today then they sounded back when he wrote them, but it is to such a minute degree that noone really cares, other times pianos get tuned in an older fashion just for one concert.
      And then there are songs written using "out of tune" pianos to get a different sound profile.
      This song is one of those.
      So in order to play this particular song you need to change the tune of every key on your piano otherwise it will sound bad. Which is why it is "impossible" to play on a normal piano.
      A little funfair to help visualise the effect maybe.
      Most western movies featuring a bar with a fast paced piano player use heavily out of tune pianos to get their special rustic sound. So many people now recognise songs played on an "out of tune" piano as "wild west piano" feeling
