The writers really spit on Taylor’s hypothetical grave by ramming bridge down the viewers throat like that when she only ‘died’ a few episodes ago. It’s so unrealistic and downright tasteless. And to think it’ll even get worse when Taylor comes back to more rewriting and tarnishing tridges legacy. As much as I miss her character I really wish they never brought her back and HT never subjected herself to this farce of a storyline.

It's quite refreshing to have a "back from the dead" scene being played for laughs for a change, _without_ losing its emotional impact. Darla passing out while still holding her book of Italian phrases, and Macy's reaction - the too late refIex to catch her, followed by the awkward "oh" - were priceless. And Darla tuning the obvious question ("are you alive?") upside down by asking "am _I_ dead?" was just so Darla! 😂
Yes! It's very appropriate for the Spectra gang whose storylines are always goofier and more comedic. Darla fainting also reminds me of when Bill Spencer wanted to show Karen to Stephanie and Karen said, "That woman's gonna drop when she sees me" and Bill deadpans, "Not _that woman_ believe me." 😂

It's easy to take her less seriously than the "main cast" because she is a comedic relief character, but that is actually not as easy as it looks, and she does it very well - little details like how she deliberately faiIs to pronounce the Italian phrases, and how she falls to the fIoor still holding the open book. And without losing the comedy, she still manages to be genuinely touching in her scene with Macy.

Macy revealing herself to Sally not by showing her face, but by showing her _voice,_ is just so right for this character whose singing was always synonymous with her narrative voice. And the way Sally says "She had a beautiful voice, didn't she, Adam? So clear... so strong" is also heartbreaking because it conveys so many emotions - grief and loss, but also love and pride. Even years after losing her daughter, she is still _proud_ of Macy's accomplishments, and her love for Macy is very much a thing of the present, not the past. It is also fitting that the words Sally uses to describe Macy's voice also work as a metaphor for Macy's _character._ From Sally's perspective this connection between the voice and the character is even more literal - she describes listening to Macy's singing as having her with her "in the room", and that's what actually happens when Sally hears the real Macy _materializing_ from the recorded sound. This also explains the odd deIay between Sally hearing Macy's voice and Sally actually turning around to look at Macy (other than the obvious explanation that it allowed the camera to focus on both characters at once). It's as if Sally doesn't dare to believe that Macy the person is there physically, but only her disembodied voice, and if that is the case, Sally doesn't _want_ to turn around and be disappointed if she finds the room empty. It's only when Macy reassures her that she's real that Sally has the courage to see for herself. Another nice touch in these scenes is the wardrobe coordination between Sally and Macy, with both of them wearing very dark purpIe/maroon nuances contrasted with a sparkly green/blue detail. And, in fact, throughout the Portofino storyline, whenever Sally and Macy are in the same episode, they are usually wearing the same or similar colors. Finally, this scene is satisfying because it is _so earned._ Both Sally and Macy have been through he II, and we've seen it on screen. We saw Macy's whole life fall apart prior to her "death", and we saw Sally's life fall apart the night she lost Macy. They really deserve this rare moment of happiness. It has been a long time coming.

I love the sound design of the scene with Brooke and Ridge on the balcony! The sound of the waves, and the soft piano music and the barely audible voices from the bar/terrace below. It really gives a three-dimensional feel to the scene because we hear all these things happening off camera.
I had to go back to actively watch with your comment in mind @AnnieO. Mainly bc I initially ffwd thru Brooke and Ridge and their forced romance scenes in favour of the Spectras and macy's reveal. But I went back to watch Brooke and Ridge. I dunno if it's RM 's ability to have Ridge face 😐 no matter what he is talking about, or Brooke's squeaky voice, or the fact that everything Ridge is saying Brooke has heard b4 upon the de ath of his wives so I don't know how she is feeling special with this attention, but even the setting can't bring some authenticity to the scene for me. On the other hand, I've watched Sally and macy's reunion about 3 times

Ridge has always been about instant gratification… with both Brooke and with Taylor. I don’t know why this is a surprise to some?😮 When Ridge was in love with Brooke he was proposing to Taylor numerous times. When Taylor died twice now, Ridge grieved for a day or two then he moved on back to Brooke… because life goes on and Ridge moves on with sometimes surprising speed. "Because You Loved Me" has a kind of special meaning for me because I associate it with a school assignment when I was 14 years old which first awakened my interest in literary analysis. We had a teacher who made each student bring a song to school, and everyone in class had to analyze the lyrics of everyone else's song, find the metaphors, interpret the connection between music and lyrics, find the message, and so on. So during those weeks, we analyzed the lyrics of 20 songs in different genres and it was a real eye-opener. That song was one of those 20. I still remember many of the other songs as well, and which of my high school class mates brought which song.

I always liked macy but her relationship with Thorn was a screw up from the beginning. Even now they will screw it up again with darla having Thorns baby. Suppose brooke is to blame for that. Her stay was brief and they killed her off again😅😅😅😅😅

"Because You Loved Me" has a kind of special meaning for me because I associate it with a school assignment when I was 14 years old which first awakened my interest in literary analysis. We had a teacher who made each student bring a song to school, and everyone in class had to analyze the lyrics of everyone else's song, find the metaphors, interpret the connection between music and lyrics, find the message, and so on. So during those weeks, we analyzed the lyrics of 20 songs in different genres and it was a real eye-opener. That song was one of those 20. I still remember many of the other songs as well, and which of my high school class mates brought which song.

Thats BS what right did she have in coming into Deacons life and helping him take little Eric away from Amber and Rick. Deacon is a selfish individual and didn't care for his son for a long time. Becky gave her son to Amber and wanted Deacon to have nothing to do with him. For gods sake Deacon tried to sell him. Of course Macy wanted revenge for Thorn who she couldn't keep after all there stupid mistakes because of lack of trust. She got what she deserved.

It was the same with Hope - Deacon wanted to get to know her and Brooke didn't even want him to see her. Becky wanted Amber and _CJ_ to raise Little Eric, and Rick brought Deacon to town to take the child away from CJ, against Becky's wishes.
