thank you for making art. You may not always like your art, and to honest, same T-T but whether your products are good or not I just wanted to tell you that I love you, your process, your energy, and just how you see art❤ Im only 13 and I'm going through some personal stuff but Everytime I watch your video, my day is instantly better. Thank you for being you☺️
I loooove the pink underlayer, it's bringing out the colors so nicely so far! I'm honestly most excited to see the second part, I love watching the rendering of non-face details of portraiture. This makes me want to give a self-portrait a try :]
I haven’t watched the video yet, but I just have to say I am SO excited to see this is a part one!! For multiple reasons!! At the risk of being too personal: I’m doing neurofeedback therapy, and we’re working on training my brain to focus and regulate my emotions better. Part of that is watching RUclips videos while getting my brain waves analyzed and doing operant conditioning to train the focus, and I’ve watched your videos each time because you’re the creator I feel the most comfortable and relaxed watching. Brain waves confirm: I’m very focused the entire videos, your content is so high quality and means so much to me, and the idea that this painting is going to require two or more videos means I have two or more videos to enjoy while watching my favourite artist work. I absolutely adore every moment of your videos and I love seeing the ways you’ve grown over the last few years, and I feel like by watching you I’ve grown as an artist too. Thank you for all the comforting hours at home, and now also all the hours of brain training you’re helping with. 😂
To be honest, I love that you are taking time! And I don't think part 2 (and 3 and more if needed) would be boring. Seeing someone take time to do it true to the heart, rather then to a due date is super inspiring, because the outcome shows a completely different quality. I hope you can really enjoy the process! Thank you for sharing it, it really inspired me do try that myself. Ah, and you are so rocking the oils! 🎉
I think it's a great decision to spend more time on some art pieces, even if it breaks up over videos. Personally I don't mind that sort of format for those pieces that need it, and with this one it's lovely to watch the details come together. Oil is never going to be a medium I want to use, but watching you paint with it was beautiful - the reflections of green on the skin is stunning. Happiness being the theme is such a good one too! I've been working on a few pieces over several sessions recently, which is somewhat of a new novelty for me - I tend to just go ham all day. Working over a few times though does allow for more detail and reflection for those details.
I really love the turquoise reflected light and the color of your eyes in this painting. They really complement the warmth of your skin tone. I would definitely like to see more videos of the remaining details. I think a lot of people (including myself) struggle with hair and backgrounds so I think it would still be interesting! I'm about to start a larger oil paining and was curious if you used oil or acrylic for the pink underpainting?
Wow it's looking even better than i imagined it, when i saw the Sketch. I'm really looking forward to seeing it coming together in the end with the Background and everything else 👍
I really love your art and I am so motivated to do my own selfportrait? I thought it would be easier starting with a self-portrait before going in with other models because if I mess up my own portrait it's not that bad. I really love how it turned out so far, I am really looking forward to the second part!
I last did a self-portrait in 2019, I think, and in the years since I’ve gotten kinda insecure about my appearance, so I’ve held off doing a new one, but maybe it would make me feel better to really focus in on my features and make something I can be proud of.

I’m very new to oils, but Ive gotten lots of tips to double/triple gesso the canvas and sand beforehand to help with the texture !
Beautiful result, and it looks realistic, can t wait for part 2 🥰✨💜💜💜

Watching your videos while drawing is always so good ily !!!! 😭 Your art really inspires me
wow love it so far!! cant wait for part 2 ♥
for canvas I'd suggest linen canvas it's much smoother you can get good prices on Jerry's
😂 I really want to do a self portrait. I still haven't tried! Which is weird because in photography class I used myself all the time. Lol
Gorgeous painting. Also are all the captions just Enhypen songs because all of those titles are just their song titles???
I started a huge painting on canvas and realized why I transitioned to painting on wood. I HAAAAAATE canvas. I ended up abandoning the piece
