    Linda top effort on that salmon . I have always removed the guts and scaled along the dorsal for ease enabling total meat harvesting . I cut through the rib bones as I fillet and then remove after . To bleed best have a look online at sashimi bleeding process and this will remove just about all the blood . Not sure if you are into sushi but salmon is amazing done this way . Frame and head also make amazing fish stock for a soup.

      I know! Martin caught that one at Back Beach. We are constantly catching big salmon there and its only 5 minutes from home. So lucky to be living here 😊

    Great Vid I noticed you didn't cut the rib bones and spider bones out of the fillet.Nice Fish Martin .

    Excellent demonstration! The biggest salmon I've ever caught would probably get eaten by those salmon!
