Recommendation for future Eu4 to Vic3 megacampaigns: BetterBlobs: Natives And Institution Spread is my mod for EU4 intended for megacampaigns. I think you’d love it, especially if you activate the “realistic sieges” optional mode (via console, which also activates a bunch of other features relating to stability and rebellion) I am going to upload a massive update within 24 hours, which I have thoroughly tested for bugs and crashing and is intended to be used to maximize “historicity”. It also automatically ends January 1st 1836 (with 3 additional techs) for easy conversion to Victoria 3- I am truly completely satisfied with the amount of dynamic plausibility I have achieved, and once CK3 fallen eagle is updated, I will update my CK3 BetterBlobs, And I am working on an imperator Rome algorithm that efficiently stays under to prevent crashes but also have tribes stay granular and collapsed in tributary systems, and having dynamic plausible frontiers; fixing my Imperator Rome BetterBlobs mod from crashing before 361 AD is my current project I’m working on- Then I will truly have what I feel is the most historical, non-railroaded, dynamic set of mods for megacampaigns, hopefully by the end of the year-
Just want to let you know, Raja's of Asia is compatible with the ck3 to eu4 converter, so you won't have to manually edit nations and China can be as messy as it wants. The balance is a little screwed dev wise, so I usually just use the base eu4 dev option on the converter instead of having it calculate dev based on the ck3 map which usually ends up being nearly 100 everywhere after a long game
All I ask is you please Clean up the borders from EU4 to Vicky III. Without Clean Borders the AI will not fight wars. You have to do that. It is a requirement.
OOOOOOHHHH looking forward to this one! thanks a lot. great job. Glad to see Victoria 3 is in here (you get it to work now then?) please consider doing one in the future with Rome and the proper mods (invictus, timeline extender, crisis of the third century, culture conflation, there's also a new better blobs submod)
@@peterp.9327 The Japanese Empire certainly wasn't. Asia was not as packed with regular territorial conquests as Europe was at that time. In my opinion, it's best to just leave it frozen until EU4.
@@gurufabbes1 I'd say it is as ahistorical as holy roman northern africa or greater byzantine hegemony. The entire premise of ck3 is an alternate history simulator with only some guidance by the designers to allow historical developments and events to take place through events and decisions. Besides, Asia was far from static from 800 to 1400. china was half and fully conquered like two or three times by steppe people (jurchen and mongol) instead of the japanese, and they weren't the only ones the mongols conquered. China also went through a almost a century of splintered realms and numerous successive native dynasties. They also lost control of the tarim basin and vietnam for quite some time before the ming re-tributaried them.. the khmer empire rose and fell to pieces, as did the Majapahit empire. India... I admit to not knowing as much about the various kingdoms and princely states there but i promise you they weren't just unchanged in half a millenium time, and some changes of territory might not look drastic to european outsiders looking in, but considering the scale of and large populations within some of these regions changing hands, a lot more significant than some european counties changing hands between the germans and the french, or a single king ruling two crowns in spain or the british isles for a bit.
@@peterp.9327 Asia was for sure much more static than Europe was. You never had a massive Empire like Rome conquer east asia and parts of the pacific, which is exactly what you will get if you leave this mod in. China was there, and mostly kept to itself, dominating the region through trade and culture. The territorial changes you are talking about are restricted to what is present day china. The mongols you could make an argument for, but they are already in the game, and they largely splintered as time went on. If you want to have a Japanese dominated asia by 1400 AD, then leave the mod on. Anyone else, leave it out.
woow spain never existed here but Galicia keep their western coast iberian traditional lands and hold the south of spain against the superior forces of france during centurys and also having the byzantines at the south, to finally use their position to establish a great colony in the pacific coast of america alaska and canda
This one was intended to be longer, but I ran into issues trying to get it into HOI4, after multiple attempts I just had to go with the shorter version.
my personal preference is to not have the "Asia Expansion Project" inside. it's ahistorical. There were not that many border changes in asia as this mod will bring in a timelapse. it just ruins the historicity entirely.
I mean could one not argue that with quite a few places in the medieval world? We know that real life is way more complicated than what one can portray in a video game like CK, so we must therefore acknowledge the simulation is not entirely historically accurate and suspend our disbelief somewhat.
@@hippieyoda1993 Well then let's still try and make it as accurate as possible by suspending the AI from messing it up further in Asia, at least for the duration of CK3.

@hunkulous1462 cheers I'll have to download that!
visiting the court of the Holy Roman Empire in 1444: "Yeah no, it's great and all. I just didn't expect it to be Chinese."

Good to know, thanks!
Nice to see a time-lapse where the Pope didn't press the 'Destroy Byzantines' button!
Japan taking Manchuria and Korea pretty early in history😂
Yeah, they started early in this one
Byzantine's stonewalling the Mongols is amazing. Especially if its AI. Rare Blue Horde too.
All I ask is you please Clean up the borders from EU4 to Vicky III. Without Clean Borders the AI will not fight wars. You have to do that. It is a requirement.
Sure, I'll do that next time
Converter guy here, and well pleased to see the Byzzies do so well.
4:43 Why is Europe all speaking Chinese?
I don’t know
Better than speaking Arab
@@odd3820 Arabic*
lmaooooooo I didn't realize that
Chinese speaking Vikings - imagine
that seems to happen a lot with this mod, not sure what causes it

Yeah, next time I'll be running all those again
Vic 3 AI having high SoL : challenge
4:41 Kola as a Republic is crazy
some colonies disapear after converting to victoria 3
I’m sure kids in this world’s geography classes love that “Columbia” and “Colombia” are two different countries
🤣
We call that the BIG-zantine Empire! :D
We NEED Terra Indominata to Asian expansion project
I really like this video! Especialy Crusader Kings was pretty realistic!
Yea, especially that everybody speaks Chinese at the end is the most accurate thing :D
i didn't know asia expansion project was convertable
Its not really, i'd a bit of tweaking to do with japan
@@GeneralPolSo you edited the borders manually? Or does AEP work with the converter?
@Autconscipatheonive yeah manually edited them to get the close to what they where in CK3
Poland-Lithuania with no Lithuania and not much Poland xd
Asia is a good addition
I disagree. it ruins the historicity

I see that the Byzantine Empire never really went away, nor were there many rise and falls of empires. did you use the better blobbing mod for eu4?
HOLY ROMAN CANADA??????
Love your content but please make longer mega campaings thoughs are the ones that we want to see
This one was intended to be longer, but I ran into issues trying to get it into HOI4, after multiple attempts I just had to go with the shorter version.
@ oh ok would’ve loved to see who out of the three powers would’ve come on top
The mongols didnt break the purple blob this time, the result could be felt through out the centuries.
you could show great powers in eu4 at the begining and on the end
Yeah that's something I could do
would you say victoria 2 or 3 is better for observer mega campaigns?
Why did chinese spread so far in ck3?
Why does my ck3 map not have Japan but only up to Siam
You need to use a mod like Asia Expansion Project or Oriental Empires to expand the map eastward
4:42 ????
How come you don't show the religious outcomes anymore?
I had just a quick overview of them, I'll go back to showing them proper
