You can also drill holes in the louvers to add mounting kits so you can screw it on and it’s easier to take off when you want to clean it but it uses the same 3M double sided tape
The mounting kit is on Amazon for like $20
So Did the adhesive promoter touch into the 3M tape? that was already sticky? Just apply it to the sticky part basically right? I'm about to do this right now.

The velcro is tough and will hold but removing the louver that adhesive stick to your window is B to remove also at some point the rear louver will slowly move down toward the trunk stopping the trunk from opening. I'm looking at other options. Hopefully using the primer and 3M will hold and not move.
What I would like to know is whenever you remove the rear louver is there any mess?

Works great no issues at all. I cut the 3m tape in 3 different spots at the bottom so that the water can drain. That 3m adhesion promoter works perfect!!!
I’m thinking about installing this same kinda of louver to my dodge. How is your experience with it so far? As far as the cleaning and the louver staying it on. Would you recommend it?
Sorry for delay bro, did you ever get the louver? Mine has been on a year now no issues yet. But it was a cheaper quality so the heat did cause the louver to bend a little. I just posted a update video.

How did this hold up?
Just bought this very same louver and I also have an f8 green charger. I went ahead and bought the velcro too because of all the stories about them flying off at highway speeds. I see it's been 5 days since you've posted...have you hit the highway yet and are they still sturdy?
Man I’m very happy with this louver so far especially for its price you can’t beat it. Now yeah it’s only been about a week but I have hit the highway a few times even went 100 to test it. I do believe that adhesion promoter is a great enhancement for the 3m tape. But like you said the scotch Velcro has had good reviews aswell. If this fails me I’ll go that route. But I feel like the promoter is clutch if your going to just use the 3m tape. I plan to do a follow up in a month or 2.
I installed twice with velcro and extra tapes. Both flew off at speed. NEVER AGAIN

Honestly that’s exactly what it is. I’m an adjuster and in our system the back glass is referred to as the rear windshield. Although different folks from different parts of the country have different terminology. Backlite and back glass are also common terms, but most people call it the rear windshield.
How did they hold up? First time I have seen louvers without attaching brackets, I have brackets that 3m tape to the window then the louvers attach to the brackets with acorn bolts so they can be removed for window cleaning. My 1st louver flew off QUICK, on my 2nd louver I used a couple extra brackets (salvaged from my 1st louver) and then added some black RTV silicone around the brackets for extra holding power .... the 2nd louver has been on for probably 2 years with no issues (knock on wood).

Could be true. I’m a year strong with mine. A lot of my friends have lost them in less than a month. Just have to find what works. For what I paid for everything I’m happy even if it does at some point let up.
