STAYING POWER UPDATE: Sorry I didn't have check-ins... wrangling 3 kids at Family Reading Night was all I could do.
...The overall face makeup- foundation, concealer, also BLUSH and highlight stayed looking fantastic. Fresh, not cakey, super even, very little change from the initial application. IMPRESSED. Primer may have helped, but I've worn the foundation more since shooting this video and it's done well with other glowy primers I have.
...Eyeshadow did not flake or fade. There was a LOT of shimmer on my lids and it stayed in place and didn't crease or require any sort of touch-up. Eyeliner also did not fade or smudge. Mascara did hold a curl... however it smudged on my lower lashline! Though this says waterproof, it's not a tubing formula like Caliray and it CAN smudge. I corrected this with some concealer & powder before the event.
...Lips... while the shine wore down from the Maybelline Vinyl rather quickly, the color remained ALL DAY. I chose to touch up just to have a fresh look for evening, but honestly I still had EVEN COLOR all over my lips that didn't feel tight or heavy. Those Vinyl lip colors are the real deal.

Mine Walmart neighborhood store has all the make up in locked cases and you have to ask an employee to open it for you. It’s a drag but it keeps from losing product due to theft or tampering.

I danced all through grade school and still get to do at college, but the urban decay all night we setting spray and the elf camo concealer were always my go tos for long wearing. Love your videos and your genuineness! They’ve really helped me feel less scared of applying makeup!!

A ColourPop palette that definitely deserves more love (though Jen Phelps is trying!) is their Lust for Dusk palette. It's an interesting palette of...basically nudes? It has a mix of cool and warm tones that edge into colors a bit and turns out such interesting looks! It's my favorite palette of all the palettes I've tried in the past two years at least.
Emily- could you do a dedicated video on the revlon lipsticks?
This is a good idea... we could focus on Super Lustrous (the classic lipsticks) or brand out into other formulas
I'd love that. I liked every single formula i ever tried from Revlon... Which I can't say for other brands and they have such pretty colours

I have been loving the Maybelline vinyl ink! They are so good and do a really good job of lasting without feeling dry and the best part to me is that you can reapply easily and it doesn’t get chunky the way other “stay all day” lip products do, so when you need to refresh it looks great all over again!
I don’t know how I missed this video, but thank you for all of the content you give us, Emily. I especially appreciate the updates in your description box regarding how products wear. I don’t trust many creators when it comes to makeup because so many are sponsored or afraid to give an honest review because they want PR. I only buy recommended products from a few chosen creators, and you are one of them.
I'm shocked by that foundation. My mom had told me years ago that CoverGirl was becoming more mature skin friendly. She worked at FEMA and some of those older ladies had to out in 12 to 14 hour work days when they were in disaster mode. Mom always wore Loreal foundation you can buy it in their website only and it has a red cap. That stuff is great coverage for old acne scarring and doesn't budge. However, her friend Kay who is 8 years older than mom,mom is 72 and Kay is 80, still working at FEMA, Kay says that the Cover Girl line for older skin has changed. She swore up and down last Christmas that some of their products were hydrating and stays in all day long. I was kind of skeptical because CoverGirl was always a brand for younger women with oily skin and not very high end. A great beginners line. But.... I'm starting to wonder. Loved the look thanks for the info on the foundation.
