The whole area in Santa Rosa County is very nice. We have been going there once or twice a year for 10 years or so. In Kentucky. Thinking about moving there next year
Big difference between "Gulf Breeze Proper" and the highway 98 corridor. Lots of nice subdivisions on both sides but lots of dirt road trailer lots as you head east on 98. Stupid toll bridge to Milton makes traffic even worse as it funnels most traffic across the 3 mile bridge (new) into Pensacola. Don't speed in G.B.Proper. Too much traffic when there are events at Pensacola Beach.
Right. When I moved to GB right before Ivan I got pulled over in the Proper. "Let me give you a welcome card, and some advice: you do not speed in Gulf Breeze" the officer said as he handed me a warning slip.
Me and the wife will be moving to Florida next year due to her job relocating her. If you could manage to rent us my grandparents house they lived in it would make my millennium. I have the best memories of my life in their house. I believe they lived on Julia Way drive in gulf breeze.
Probably looking between $2500-$3400. Depends on the insurance company. There are always cheaper options (not necessarily the best). Just closed on a clients home for $320k and they got insurance for $2200. I have another deal where the home is $550k and they have home insurance for $3173. Both of those are pretty good quotes though. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@patrickpatrick9132 I forgot to mention the age of the roof, electrical, HVAC etc is what will change the price of the insurance as well. That’s awesome. Where are you coming from? Feel free to reach out when you visit with any questions at all. I think you’ll enjoy it 🏝️
@@patrickpatrick9132 August is HOT and MUGGY, mayhaps a hurricane too. The water at the beaches is HOT, the sand pure white is HOT. Go in the spring when the Azaleas are blooming for best result.
Your gig is to sell houses not scare people off, but II very much dislike your list of "cons." They apply to every town south of Atlanta. Don't like rain or heat? Move to other states maybe but why bother when you could come to GB and have that nice boardwalk you'll use my twice in 20 years. I've seen several of your videos and you are really selective with your videos. I can think of thousands of reasons to not move there but don't see them in your videos.😮 This is like Wolters world of travel videos. The cons are the prices are too cheap, too many nice people, and the weather is hot in the summer.
Thank you so much for making this very helpful video. I love the beaches.
Thank you Peter! The beaches here are wonderful. 🏝️ Thanks for watching.
