Have you placed a straight edge on the table top and used feeler gauges to check for flatness front to back and left to right in particular ? I just returned a new Saw Stop because it was way out of usefulness for any accuracy. I am looking at the Fusion II and III. Thanks

I have checked. It is within .001 inch. So far I am very satisfied with the fusion 2 table top.
One thing I have noticed, is when I am pushing hard oak 1" thick, you must have a quality blade, or the motor will lag.
But it rips ply wood like a champ! No lag at all...

@@TheMcKeelsWoodworks Nice saw. Are you using a 120v 15a, or 20a circuit? Or 240v? The 60t blade that these come with are not ripping blades. Not sure why they did not come with more versatile 40t blades.

Did you check blade for parallel to mitre slots and fence?

Yes. I did this off camera with a square, digital degree scanner, and actually out of the box it was within .05% error. For me, that is great! I am sure if you were a fine cabinet maker or working with small error parts, you may want to make some other adjustments.
Can you think of anything else I should check?

@@TheMcKeelsWoodworks tilt the blade at 45 degrees as well and see if it's parallel. Its actually is checking the tilt mechanism pivot is parallel to the top of the table if that makes sense. My cheap saw was out alot. It's a bit of a stuff around because when you get one close the other is out, so you go back and forth. I made a timber jig like an L bracket screwed to my mitre gauge to get my dial indicator as close to the table as possible. It is amazing what a difference a good setup makes. With a decent blade I now get an excellent edge square and true for glue ups. And after setting my stops a true 45 degrees. Oh set your stops to 90 and 45, I'm assuming it has them. Do a video!!
