      There is one more question that comes to mind .I have been told that u should not meggar a motor when undet a vaccum. Is this true and if so why?

      @@kennethlobo4420 That is true , a vacuum will do strange things so you should not. Just like running a compressor under a vacuum will ruin a compressor motor. also I do not like to meg motors unless I need to because you are testing the insulation. which means it may fail during the test and a good working motor that had a few months left or a year may not be any good after the test. there is a lot to explain and I will see about doing a video on megging a motor for you.
